I returned from a trip to find my furnace had stopped working. Doctor Fix It was able to send out a technician in a few hours and called prior to his arrival. Justin B. was courteous, placing booties over his work boots before entering my home. He found the problem quickly and pointed out other problems with my system without exaggeration. He was very professional and was able to ""band-aid"" my furnace for the time being. I'll definitely call them again.

Our furnace was acting up for a few weeks. When we finally decided that we needed help, we called Doctor Fix-It and they send Jeison. He was great! Very professional and detected something we would have never seen: Our humidifier was causing the furnace to shorten out. Other companies would have tried to sell us on the expensive option and instead we got away with a small bill. Thank you Jeison for your honesty! This means so much.

Dr Fixit sent tech out to check water heater as I was having problem with hot water pressure.Tech hastily read water pressure as ""dangerously"" high, didn't check anything, quoted me $1999-2500 for new water heater plus PRV at additional $635. I called another A+ rated local plumber who came out, said pressure was at 65 psi, normal and PRV valve not needed. Cleared a small piece of residue from intake pipe...$180 for trip charge and 1 hour labor and all was good...just sayin'

When I found my water heater leaking and dead of old age I immediately called Doctor Fix it to come take a look at it because of the quality work they did for me in the past. They came out and gave me a estimate and replaced it for right away. All of the guys were very professional and polite, and they did a great job. I'm very happy with the new tankless water heater they installed for me.

Called to have them look at our furnace which was purging and knocking. Guy told us it would be $4,200 to fix a variety of issues. she called me in a panic and I told them to leave a written quote and we would get a second opinion. He never left a quote but the 1st guy wanted to send a second guy from his company for the second opinion. why not? the second guy quoted $2,800 and DID put it in writing. He also suggested we not only get a new furnace but also a new water heater (""might as well do them at the same time"")!? $16,000!!!!!

Got my second quote from another company the next day. THIS new company told me the furnace would outlive us and didn't need a thing. turns out it was just trapped air that need to be purged.

So far so good! I called this morning and they sent Justin B to look at my furnace. He was polite and nice. He gave me my options and didn't pressure me to put the old furnace to sleep and buy a new one. Since you never know what else could go wrong next winter, we decided that it would be best to replace her with a newer, younger model...we even upsold ourselves and decided on a new water heater at the same time. Now the financing and paperwork has been completed and I am eagerly awaiting the next two technicians who will do the installation.

I chose this company because they had a $395 deal to get a new toilet and that it was a Dave Logan approved company. I was told that the only way that they could give me a quote was to send a certified plumber to my house. My ""certified"" plumber came out and didn't even come near the toilet He looked at it and then pulled out his book and gave me a quote. Really?!?!? Couldn't have done that by phone?!? He told me it would be $800.00 for the cheapest toilet. I asked him about the $395 deal and he told me that must have been an old add (even though it was on the internet). When I told my brother about it, he told me it was ridiculous to spend $800.00 for a toilet so I called the company and told them to cancel my appointment to have the expensive toilet installed. I told the girl it was the ""bait and switch"" method of sales. I got a hold of my realtor and got his plumber to take care of it for half that cost. Would NEVER go to this company again. BTW, they become ""Dave Logan"" certified company because they pay money not because they are a good company. Just FYI.

Jason H came over to service our furnace and check our house humidifier yesterday. He spent a lot of time answering all of our questions and helping to troubleshoot things. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. All of the employees that we have worked with at Doctor fix-it have been amazing!

These guys are definitely courteous, but lacking in any type of follow-through. I called and asked for help on a something pretty specific: Please give me a quote on fixing our furnace exhaust pipe which was rusty, building condensation, and leaking. They sent someone out who was clearly not prepared. I paid him, he left, and told me I would have a quote within 24 hours. About an hour later, a dispatcher called me and said that I needed to have yet another technician -- this one would be a more advanced service person-- come out and look at the exhaust pipe. Ok, fine. So we made the appointment. Then no one showed up. When I finally called and asked why the guy was a no-show, I was told that I had cancelled the new appointment. No. We didn't cancel. In fact, I worked from home that day so I could see the guy. Then she told me that the original technician had tried to call me with a quote. Again, not true. No one called me with a quote. Eventually the original technician called with a quote -and basically just said that they couldn't do the work. Which is totally fine! But I really dislike how I had to chase these guys down for any information. And it feels like they cheated me out $39 because I specificially told them the problem on my initial phone call. And if they can't do the work, then just tell me. Don't waste 4 days of my time.

Darrien was on time, put his booties on and was courteous. Checked over furnace and made recommended (by my inspector for new purchased home) adjustments. Price was right.
