This is the only company I have ever had tell me Friday doesn't work for them because everyone wants the weekend. What kind of customer service is that?

I hate having to deal with this company through my home warranty. Some guy came by today ( Didnt introduce himself. Very bad customer service, didn't offer to fix my issue even if my stupid warranty wouldn't cover it. I would have paid for the service but didn't need some kid fix my issue. I wish OLD Republic would work with another Plumbing service.

Yelp please let us give business 0 Stars. This place is horrid, a disgrace for a business.
1) Never Pickup the phone
2) Never return voicemails
3) if you work with a home warranty they never show up for their appointment
4) They never report back their findings to the home warranty company. I have to chase them like i was working for them with 4 or 5 calls.
5) They are just TERRRIBBLLEEEE. There are many choices out there dont make this company one of them.

If you look at my other reviews you'll see that I rarely give negative reviews. That's because I see the good in people and am a glass-half-full type guy.
Well, I don't see the good in docs plumbing and the glass is half full... full of crap.
Believe the other negative reviews. They are unreliable, non-responsive, unprofessional, and just very unfriendly. I had waited for a callback for over one week after they said they would contact me. I had to follow up with them only to be greeted by a very rude person on the phone who did not apologize for not calling me back.
When they finally sent a plumber to my house, the person was incompetent and did not even want to answer a basic question I had. All he said was ""you can look that up yourself."" He never solved the issue.
I hired another Plumber the next day and they resolved the problem.
Never going not deal with Docs Plumbing again. Hope those jerks shape up their business practices.

-never pick up phone when call them in the afternoon.
-Wait for 2 weeks for a visit with the part and saying ""you still need another part to fix, now I can do nothing ""
- there's one valve in my own unit and the plumber spent 20min to confirm : ""hey this pipe is long it might let other people's water shut off! ""
(I really got confused how does the valve in my laundry shut off other people's shower?!)
-always directly step in with shoes on
-complain the waste of time about the own unit valve problem and say ""see how long we've been wasted here""""our company doesn't allow us to stop and wait""
I want say I'm too stupid to waste my time and cannot take shower in my washroom for 2weeks!
Never do that like me!

good job. Came when they said they would and got the problem resolved.

Without a doubt the most honest and trustworthy plumber I've ever used. John tells you exactly what the problem is without trying to get you to make unnecessary repairs. They quote good prices and get the job done right. Every experience with Doc's Plumbing has been excellent. Great, friendly service and professional work. They just fixed my shower diverter and a few other issues -- I couldn't be happier.
I also use their service at rentals and have always received the most honest and accurate estimates from them. Then they follow through without any unexpected ""gotchas."" Other plumbers I've used have been dishonest or I've had to call back to fix their shoddy work. Never any issue with Docs, though. Their service and their honesty is unmatched in my experience. I highly recommened Doc's Plumbing.

Like others these guys ignored my and my warranty company's calls for days after being assigned by my home warranty company. Had things taken care of without them.

I had a horrible time with First American Home Warranty trying to get someone out to fix my unlit water heater. It got to be so ridiculous that my boyfriend had two phone calls going on at the same time with them just trying to get through. Eventually, after 4 hours of phone tag with them, we made two appointments; one with Docs and another with someone who was GE certified (we were told that the job would require someone GE certified due to the make and model of our water heater).
Docs confirmed they didn't need to be GE certified but I was worried about them sending someone out here who couldn't get the job done (which is what happened with PG&E a week prior).
Come to find out our second appointment was never scheduled (THANKS, FAHW), I decided to bank on Docs and hoped to God they could fix the issue. I had to figure out how to make a 10am-1pm window work while still going to work. I must have been one of the worst (or at least most frantic) customers they've dealt with :) I called and begged them to give me a definite time, and of course right as I'm leaving work they inform me that they're at my place. I begged him to wait 15 minutes while I rushed home as fast as I could. I kept calling, asking them to keep him there, because all I could think about was that I didn't want to take one more damn cold shower!
I ran to my place, out of breath, while the guy was cool as a cucumber. All he could say was that he'd open it up and see what could be done. Within 40 mins he removed the burnt thermocouple and replaced it with a whole new set. He explained clearly what happened and ensured I got my receipt. He said this was a common issue with this type of water heater, and that he'd seen them crap out (my words) so often that he's learned to fix them quickly without being GE certified.
Thank you, Docs, for squeezing my appointment in at the last minute during the busiest season. And thank you, Daryl, for doing a fantastic job and coming to my rescue! I truly appreciate you waiting for me to arrive and for fixing my issue so quickly and calmly. Your customer service and efforts are not unnoticed!
Anddd... 30 minutes later and I have hot water!

As I see with other reviews I was assigned this plumber through Old Republic Home Warranty. They did not get in touch with me after picking up the order and when I called them and left a message they did not respond. It has been 10 days and I haven't heard anything.
I've asked Old Republic to change plumbers.
