In June, our family was looking for a plumber right away after we found out our new washer/dryer laundry center could not be installed because of our old water valves were frozen and could not be safely turned off without risking a break and leaking downstairs to our townhouse neighbors. I called Cole, who answered immediately. I told him of our water valve situation. I also asked him about fixing our long neglected toilet that ran excessively loud after flushing. Texted him pictures of both plumbing issues, called me back right away, gave me a reasonable quote (included the labor, supplies and clean-up) and after reviewing the pictures he confirmed he will need to cut the wall for the water valve replacements. He was able to schedule us the next morning. Cole arrived on time, polite, got to work right away, efficient and answered any questions I had. I do have to add that he, himself does not repair drywall, as he had to cut into our wall for the repairs. He did refer me to a company who does wall repairs, but I decided to go with someone else. Cole also provided excellent customer service, as I had called him again because after he replaced the toilet guts, the tank was not filling up with water after every 15 flushes. He came the next morning and adjusted the float valve, which our toilet works perfect now. Thank you Cole for making our plumbing issues seem less stressful.

If I could give Do-It-Rite Plumbing ten stars for the repiping work they completed at my home, I would certainly do it without hesitation. Cole Hanson, owner and his awesome workers, Macaiah and Ethan are extremely hard workers, honest, well-mannered, skilled and knowledgeable. Cole explained to me that they were going to cut open the walls (tung and groove redwood) to my two bathrooms and tiled shower. I thought I needed to hire a carpenter to put the walls back and a tile man to repair the shower wall. To my amazement, after the repiping was done, Cole and his boys put the walls back perfectly, repaired the tiled shower opening with a brand new hot/cold water faucet and a backing plate. Most important for me, they were always cleaning, wiping, sweeping and vacuuming during and after the repiping was completed. Mahalo, Cole, Micah, and Ethan for a superb repiping job!

Cole and his team, Makaia and Andrew, were AMAZING, let me say that again, UH-MAZING! I'm selling my condo, have the inspection with the buyers tomorrow and dang it, I discovered a leak under the kitchen sink late last night. Freaking out because I didn't think I could get anyone in this last minute, but a friend referred me to Cole and he squeezed me in between jobs (probably heard the desperation in my voice, lol). Makaia showed up on time, did a quick but thorough assessment and told me I needed a new faucet. Well crap, I didn't have a spare one on me, but Makaia ran to home depot, took pics of a couple of faucets, I chose one and he was back in a flash, getting to work. Andrew showed up to help complete the job and they were pau in a short amount of time. I'm so happy to know DIRP services the whole island, these are now my plumbers for life. Mahalo Cole, Makaia and Andrew- you saved my sanity and I'll get a good nights sleep, confident it will be a great inspection.

I hate to do this bec Cole was ok when I first hired him. The 2nd time around, he didn't show up then he texted apologizing as he went vacation and he was sick. He said he'll make it up, texting to come over and give him a chance, I told him to come over at a certain day, then no response at all. I don't how he become unreliable at yikes. No call, no show then text to come then no show again
