On Sunday, we suddenly didn't have hot water. We called a local plumber with 5 stars and told them we think our water heater pilot needs to be relit, but we didn't know how to do it. So they send a guy out who tries pushing the pilot button, which we had tried on our own before. In the end, he tells us (1) we need to replace the thermocouple which would cost about $385 or (2) replace the water heater which would cost about $1,300. We're in escrow so we decide to use the home warranty since it turned out to be bigger job. This guy charges us $79 to do nothing and basically tell us we need a new water heater.
Monday was a holiday, so the claim was made with the home warranty on Tuesday. They send someone on a Wednesday. Perfect. Two guys come out with a bunch of tools (note - the guy from the fancy 5 star company had no tools). The guys from DN Plumbing tell us the water heater is fine and simply lights the pilot right there! They said it's a newer water heater (which it is - less than 5 years old) and that the thermocouple is perfectly fine. Within minutes, the water heater is lit and running.
I feel like these companies that home warranty companies use get a bad rep, but they're actually experienced and know what they're doing. We lived 4 days without hot water when all that was needed was to light the pilot. DN Plumbing did the job and didn't try to tell us we needed a new water heater.
I dropped one star because they were about 1 hour late and didn't call.
Thank you DN Plumbing!

Was assigned this company by first American home warranty I came home at 8:30pm to find no hot water I have small children asked FAHW if we could get this call expedited they said yes we will place it as a high priority call. I called DN when the opened at 8 on Thursday morning asked did they receive the info from FAHW they said yes they gave me a appointment with a time frame for 12-4 for a high priority call ok whatever they were over an hour late didn't call to notify me got here said oh your pilot is out and vents are just dusty ok he wipes the vents off with his hand and relit the pilot all of this took 4 minutes he said give it 30 minutes water should be hot and it was for 1 hour I go back to clean the kitchen and no hot water I call FAHW again explain what happened they say oh we will do a recall at this point I'm overly frustrated because now yet again my children and I have no hot water clearly what DN plumbing claimed was wrong isn't that they clearly didn't properly diagnose the problem how could they in 5 minutes and now they can't come until tomorrow between 9-1 I'm so disappointed in FAHW and this DN plumbing. When they come to resolve this problem with my water heater I will be in the market for a new home warranty company and be sure that they never use this plumbing company.

If it was possible to give a negative rating it would not be enough to capture the horrible experience with this unethical and incompetent company. If they are sent to you by First American Home Warranty you can count on whatever is wrong not being covered. Don't expect a call back when you need to schedule the actual service, 2 weeks in and we still don't have hot water.

Horrible experience. The guy who came out was nice enough but because this was a First American Home Warranty claim they did nothing. Told me they would have to check with FAHW and get back to me. A week went by and no word. When I called they said, ""Oh, that claim was denied, sorry we did not get back to you.""
I called them back to try and schedule the ""routine maintenance"" they said was needed and the woman told me she would have to check with her manager to schedule service and someone would call me back that afternoon. NOBODY called. I called them back at the end of the day and left a message. STILL NO CALL. I tried calling this morning. They are not answering the phone and the voice mail box is full! I hope they have gone out of business in order to spare others from their unethical business practices because FAHW and DN have conspired to leave my without a working water heater for over a week now.

I have a new home warrenty. The first plumbing company they sent told me I need a special heater or water regulator to get hot water to my kitchen. Both of these were not covered by the warrenty. DN Plumbing came out and determined the problem was as simple as replacing the faucet. The warrenty did not cover the color I wanted so they ordered it and charged me less than they quoted me which was already very cheap. Every day I'm appreciating having excellent water flow and hot water. I will definitely use DN plumbing for all my future plumbing needs. They were honest and efficiently fixed my problem. I think my technician name was David but I'm not sure. I highly recommend them

This guy left excrement in our bathroom. He removed a leaking toilet and replaced a wax seal. I had readied a mop and bucket to clean up, but he said he wouldn't remove the toilet so I could clean up the area because he didn't want to do double the work. He actually blamed me for not speaking up sooner. Nevermind that perhaps he should have said something if he saw brown stuff on the floor?
No use arguing with this guy. He's the boss, so he gets to be a jerk if he wants. I guess that's why he works with warranty companies, since his winning work ethic doesn't win him much business. And he left without re-caulking the toilet. Way to go.

This is the 2nd time I have used this company through American home shield. 1st work was with our shower handle that was just broken because it was old and David came in to fix it within 30-45mins. Professional guy tells you how it is and respectful! Then 6months later shower spout needed to be replaced after calling DN plumbing I requested for David who came with his partner to replace it and 2 days later they came and fixed it in 15mins and educated me on how to avoid getting it messed up again. I'll suggest this company to me neighbors for sure and I have used a few plumbing company before and this one I'm satisfied with!

Through our home warranty we were fortunate to have DN Plumbing do our clogged drain service. David and his co-worker were pleasant and professional. In no time at all they cleared the drain. Would use them again.

Toliet was backed up. D and N was assigned to me by my home warranty program, First American. This service my realtor bought for me as a gift- every time you call its $75. They spent- about $8 min assessing the job to say- oh we dont do that, its not covered under your contract. Terrible and waste of money. The man did not care and it clearly showed. Home Warranty of America would not give me my money back. This person made at least $100 for 8 min of time. Scam! Do not use.

After making an appointment with this company for a faucet installation, I was given a 4 hour window...they never arrived. When I called to investigate, apparently, no appointment had been registered. I got a weak apology. So I made another one. Today, once again, after waiting 4 hours, no one appeared again. NO call, no text, no cancellation of any kind.
I have no idea how this company runs a business this way. One awkward mistake is one thing, but now TWO!!!!
HORRIBLE!!!
