DM Select's owners, Dan McCarthy and Jim Workman have extensive experience in the field since the 1980s, providing expertise in plumbing, heating, and cooling. We are a local, family-owned business.

As one of the owners of DM Select Services, my childhood passion was fixing cars, so my first job was as a mechanic at a dealership at a car dealership in Fairfax. It became clear to me that it suited me better as a hobby than a profession. My father owned a heating and cooling business, I chose to venture into that industry, and I enjoyed the work. Having spent more than 20 years in that business, I made the decision to launch my own venture and eventually teamed up with Dan McCarthy to create DM Select Services.

I married Christine in 1990, and we are proud parents of two great kids, who are Brian and Sean. I still find joy in fixing cars, hitting the golf course, and spending time with friends.
