The founders of DM Select, Dan McCarthy and Jim Workman bring decades of experience from the early 1980s, delivering expertise in plumbing, heating, and cooling. We take pride in being a local, family-run service provider.

As one of the owners of DM Select Services, I grew up with a passion for working on cars, which led me to my first job as a mechanic in Fairfax. I quickly discovered that it suited me better as a hobby than a profession. With my father running a heating and cooling company, I decided to explore that field, and I enjoyed the work. Having spent more than 20 years in that business, I took the leap to start my own business and formed a partnership with Dan McCarthy to establish DM Select Services.

I married Christine in 1990, and we have two wonderful children, named Brian and Sean. I still find joy in fixing cars, playing golf, and spending time with friends.
