This pluming co. Has the laziest plumbers. I would not use them.
They come unequipped for the job. And were unwilling to help find th rooter entrance. Please save yourself from waiting all day for them to call. Because they wont they will just bang on your front door. And offer NOTHING
So if you need a respectable plumber clean dressed professional and want to actually have employees that want to help u out, PLEASE USE
Chicago Plumbing and Sewer.

Very rude service from Bonnie. They wanted to charge a $75 fee to come ""look"" but would not commit to doing the work for a residential bathroom sink. Happy to choose another plumbing company--there are plenty.

Like many others, Diversey Plumbing came to our home via our home warranty company. Bonnie was pleasant enough via phone. However, when we received a call from the technician a few days later saying he was on the way we were shocked because no one had followed up to schedule an appointment. Growing impatient with our confusion the tech asked, ""are you home or not?"" I asked him what company he was from and he sighed and for the first time told me he was with DP. I should've seen the flag on the play and immediately cancelled.
Five minutes later two technicians showed up. We offered them water, they declined; we later found water bottles littering our hallway. Service was fast and the technician said he'd be back as he needed to get a part. He never came back. Our home warranty called to say we'd be charged $200 if we wanted them to come back. Again confusion. Are we paying twice for 1 job? Rather than go back and forth with the warranty company we called DP and spoke with the owner. Our request was simple: finish the job you started. The owner grew increasingly agitated, screamed at my husband ""I don't have to deal with this shit"" told us someone would be ""over to finish the job, nothing more"" and hung up.
Long story short, the lack of professionalism and integrity shown by this company is disconcerting. Do not allow this energy into your home.

I had Luis and Charlie here a couple times and they were on time, polite and efficient. They fixed all my plumbing issues. Thanks you !

Diversey plumbing was called out through my AHS home warranty. They did a great job, were very courteous, and fixed everything in a timely manner. Very happy with their work, will definitely reach out for any issues in the future!

I recently had Diversey Plumbing come out to replace my exterior garden hose spigots. They were able to come out and give me an estimate the day of and the repair was done within the week. The plumber, Jerry, was respectful and reliable - on time and clean for the estimate and repair. I agree that the woman who answers the phone could be a bit nicer, but I have had WAY worse experiences with the actual plumbing work in the city, so as long as the work is done correctly I'm ok with that. I think the cost might have been a little high ($300 for a 45 min job) which is the reduction in 1 star.

It's a shame that this has to be a 3-star review because their actual plumbing work is 5-stars. The 2-star deficiency here has to do with them not completing the requested work. In this situation, they were very quick to respond and have someone come take a look at the project. My project was an emergency and they were able to come that day and the next day to take care of defective plumbing from the previous owner. Unfortunately, I had a Shop-Vac full of human sewage waste that I specifically asked them to dispose of after the plumbing was fixed. This Shop-Vac was used initially when our toilet failed and sewage was spilling out of the bottom. There was about 4 gallons of waste in the Shop-Vac that sat for a few days before the repairs were completed (it was a large and lengthy repair). We specifically asked them to get rid of the contents once the plumbing was fixed. We still have the Shop-Vac full of the human waste and are struggling to figure out how to dispose of it properly. We are neither equipped nor qualified to deal with this. I cannot recommend a company that doesn't complete the specified tasks and creates undue hardship on the consumer. Likewise, their pricing structure is not at all transparent and I have yet to receive an invoice of any kind breaking down the $2,135 of repairs. The final part, re-installation of the toilet, was not even done by them but rather by a tile contractor they work with...

I've had Diversy in my Condo on two separate occasions. One was an issue in my master bathroom & the other was in my kitchen. They were sensitive to my plights as well as insuring I understood what was wrong & what was being done to fix it.

I needed two water heaters I bought at Menards installed. Menard's gave me three plumbers names and I chose these guys. They picked up the heaters and installed them. Great job, good communication, good price, disposed of the old heaters, cleaned up after themselves. All in all a good experience. I would use them again and I've recommended them a few times.

We have an older Lakeview building, like built in 1899, that had a stopped kitchen drain on the second floor.
These old buildings can have a lot of surprises with the old catch basin/drain configuration and narrow drain stacks. Not a problem for Jerry and his assistant. BTW, have been using Diversey Plumbing and Sewer for decades when his Dad ran the business. Always courteous,
thorough and competent. Cleaned up afterward so it looks like nothing happened at all. Turned out old rust scale from the attic drain pipe above had flaked off and jammed the next sink drain downstream. Someone thought to try the hand sink in the attic after years of not being used. All fixed and reasonably priced I thought for what it took to clear it out.
So he gets my 5 stars. I enjoy going local too.
PS: He called me back directly in the early A.M. right after I called him.
