My kitchen drain clogged, I had a big water mess, in and out the Sink, everywhere in the kitchen.
I called Discount Plumbing, & Rooter.
Carlos G. showed up on time, he explained what caused the problem, and immediately took care of it, fixed.
Carlos did an Excellent Job! He is very Professional, and Knowledgeable Tech.
Discount Plumbing, and Rooter is the one to call for any Plumbing Emergency, or any Service you may need. Their Service charge is reasonable, and very Competitive.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Leo is great, as others have documented. He unclogged a toilet and bathtub for us. It took 1.5 hours from start to finish, during business hours. He removed the toilet, so it was not completely straightforward. My only gripe was the cost - $1,600. Don't get me wrong, Leo is highly competent and super nice and the plumbing outcome was optimal - and that's obviously the priority when you have an emergency. However, $1,600 seemed pretty steep however you slice it (hourly, work involved, etc.). I'll get quotes next time.

P.S. I see another poster obtained quotes for her (more extensive job) and Discount was the most affordable. Maybe it's just inflation... Still, quotes seem prudent to avoid sticker shock and be comfortable you're getting a competitive price. That said, if Discount comes in near the others, I'd recommend them.

Our kitchen sink got clogged in the morning when we needed to use it urgently. My husband found Discount Plumbing online and we decided to call them based on good reviews. They came very quickly (we appreciate this a lot) and unclogged the sink. We paid them and they left. After they left, we went to the downstairs bathroom and stepped into the dirty water. It appeared that they moved the issue from one part of the house to another. Being not experienced in plumbing we couldn't identify it right away. All the time we were using the kitchen sink water was coming up in the downstairs bathroom sink. We called them again and the next day another tech came but didn't fix the issue. Instead, he offered an expensive hydro press cleaning service (don't remember the exact name). We decided to get a 2nd opinion and call another company. They came down and resolved the issue within 40 min.

We called Discount Plumbing back to report that issue is fixed and discuss the payment since the issue was not resolved by them. We agreed to pay for technician time, but not for the full completed job. We talked to the manager who promised to call us back the next day but never did, instead they cashed our full check, for the completed job.

I think this is very unfair and unprofessional from their side. We will never recommend their services to anyone. Please see attached what they left us with and charge the full amount for it.

I called for an appointment and we set it for 10:00 to 10:30 on Monday.
No one called and no one showed for the appointment. No call to let me know. I do not know whether their work is good or not. I was offered Priority Treatment if I made another appointment. I work and I do not have the time to wait around to see if someone appears as expected.

We had a serious sewage backing up issue which was affecting all of the drains in the house. Leo was a recommended plumber we found on NextDoor. Luckily he was available and came that day and diagnosed the problem, came back again and sent his camera down to show us what was going on and how to fix it. On a very wet and rainy day he came with his workers, digging nearly 6 feet down in our front yard, fixing the pipes and the ground slope and patching it all up! We are grateful for their service and will come back to them every time we have plumbing issues.

I read the yelp reviews for Discount Plumbing & Rooter, and called them. They were super responsive, setting up my appointment for the next business day. Their technician, Elmer, seemed quite knowledgable and professional about our entire plumbing setup. He diagnosed the faulty valve issue immediately upon arrival. They installed the new part within 30 mins, and the flush was working perfectly! These guys are totally worth the call, I'd highly recommend them.
