I had a leak in my shower and Discount Plumbing and Rooter Company immediately sent Alex and Angel to diagnose a leaking valve....from the 70s. The part was almost impossible to find but they hunted it down, installed it and left my shower and bathroom cleaner that when they arrived.

My wife and I worked with Marco of Discount Plumbing & Rooter Co, and were very satisfied with the experience. He came in, as did several others, and bid on our sewer system project, and while his price wasn't the lowest, it was very reasonable, and he came across as quite knowledgeable about the process. Once we awarded him the project, he jumped on things immediately, explained the work he/his team would do, and the anticipated time frame for completing each part, then secured the permit quickly, and kept us in the loop throughout the project. He got us full access to use of our toilet and shower within the short time frame he promised, and finished the project, with full inspections and sign off from the county, within the expected timing he set. Quite happy overall with him and his hard working team, and would recommend him to others.

UNRELIABLE! NO SHOW AND NO CALL BACK!!! The first time I had a plumbing backup and called Discount Plumbing. They told me they will show up in a few hours. I waited a couple of hours and decided to call another plumber --- Wizard---and they sent someone to me within the hour and solved my issue. I called Discount Plumbing back to cancel, 6 hours after my initial call. I gave them a benefit of doubt about their no-show. I had to get an estimate for another plumbing fix, this one not too urgent. They gave me a 2-hour time window. They did not show and did not give me a courtesy call back to reschedule or an explanation of why. I will never use them as they are so unreliable.

I cannot even comment on whether Discount Plumbing provides good plumbing work or not. Believe it or not, I have not been able to have Discount Plumbing to come to our house at schedule appointment times. Normally, I would consider it as them being busy. However, I initially contacted them in February because of the plumbing system was backed up. They had to reschedule and then no-showed their rescheduled appointment. I had called several other plumbers to assess and ended up using another plumber.

This time, I contacted several plumbing companies to bid on a lateral line replacement. Discount Plumbing was the only company to no show the scheduled appointment. Worse, they didn't have the courtesy to even follow up with a call this time.

I don't know about you, but I can't place any confidence in a company when they can't even make their appointment times (or at least provide good reason/follow up to address, which they have not).

So this review is for a senior citizen who had them come out for a clogged sink. Right off the bat they wanted to re-pipe the house. Not what the call was for but plumber brought it up multiple times....bad, pushy customer service. He then asked the old lady if she had any draino (unbelievable)!! Then he wanted to go under the house...old lady sad no, there is no reason. He then asked to borrow a flashlight. He finally went on roof and snaked the drain but over the kitchen sink...old lad said that's not the spot where the clogged sink is....end of story, she still has a clogged sink! Discount plumbing needs to know not all old people are senile....they have lots of friends and LOTS of time to do nothing but talk! You decide if this company is a good fit for you?

Had a backed up bathroom line... Discount plumbing and Rooter was prompt and flexible (which is great with 3 little kids). Efrain thoroughly explained the issue and quickly fixed it.

Avo and his team were awesome at responding to our immediate needs for a new water line. They replaced close to 300' of underground piping! They were fast, efficient, polite....couldn't ask for better response and service!!! They contacted our neighbors to make sure everyone knew what the job entailed, and our neighbors really appreciated their service as well. I won't hesitate to use Discount Plumbing and Rooter again, if needed. Thanks, guys!!!!!!

First call we had someone to our home in 2 Hours, Professional and dependable was
my first thought. They returned the next day. 3 men worked with respect for my home,
(cleanliness) and from the time they arrived they didn't stop until the job was complete.
They came in under the estimate of scheduled time. Price was what I felt to be very Good. This Company was Awesome, Call Them They will do It Right.
