On an aging property with large mature pine trees all around, we inevitably had roots intruding into our sewage pipe leading from the cleanout that had to be replaced.

After getting a glowing recommendation from a dear friend, I gave Discount Plumbing and Rooter a call. Avo, the supervisor, came out immediately to inspect and give an assessment. He was friendly, refreshingly genuine, and very thorough as he walked me through the inspection and the entire process of getting the pipe replaced.

A very short time after, the team got to work on the sizable job. They worked nonstop throughout the days, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Avo would provide an update where they were, what was next, etc all throughout the project, which was really great. Worth noting: On several occasions, different neighbors commented to me on how friendly and courteous they all were (the work was street-side, so they came in contact with the neighbors as they drove/walked through).

The end result looks absolutely fantastic, and my family and I couldn't be happier. We are so glad to have met Avo and his crew, true professionals of the trade.

Where do I even start?

If you are on a mission to spend $$$$ for a $$ job, call these folks.

Had a relatively minor plumbing issue. My DIY attempts failed. Had a clear idea what had to be done. Common issue.

Got a call from a guy who heard the issue, then asked ""so what do you want done"". Ah, would like the issue fixed please. He said ""my boys will be calling you"". Ah ok.

Got another call. This guy kept rambling about the rental properties he owns and how he can empathize with plumbing issues.

He fails to ask basic questions to diagnose the issue. Directly goes in for ""surgery"". On the phone, using his mystical powers, determines that the resolution would cost ""a lot of money"". Gives a quote with a range topping at $7000. Of course throws in a favor, he could send a crew ""urgently for fixed flare rate of $5800"".

Keep in mind he hasn't seen the issue. Diagnosed anything in person. Simply thrown around big numbers.

Long story short. Called another (honest) plumber. Got the issue fixed for $300 including parts and labor.

So, if you have some extra $$$$ to spend, give these folks a call. They won't disappoint you.

Wow! Of course our hot water heater blew up Friday evening of a three day holiday weekend. It's a rule, right? A neighbor gave me Avo's number and he was ready to show up within the hour and take care of the problem. If we waited until the next morning, there was a sizeable price difference. We waited. Four guys showed up exactly on time the next morning and the work was finished in a couple of hours. Avo, who is the supervisor, came to
inspect at the end of the job and hung around to chat. We ended up asking him to give us quotes for other work. These guys are about as good as it gets. Not cheap on a holiday weekend, but not the worst either. They're punctual, reliable, fast and know what they're doing. Thanks Avo & his guys! You saved us and we'll be calling you if anything arises in the future.

Had a flood in my kitchen. They were here in 20 minutes. ,Found out in minutes what was wrong.Got the parts right away. The job was done fast and everything was great. Plumbers were friendly , took time to explain each step,showed pictures of what they were doing.They left the area they worked in clean and in order. I will be calling them if I need any more work done.
