We experienced a disappointing situation with their service. They were not on time, and the cost was our family more than a simple repair to replace a line.

After we inquired the bill, the response was unpleasant. Later, the line we had fixed had issues again, and they would not to cover the cost of the repair. I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when considering this plumbing service.

Terrible company!!! They claimed to have inspected our home before we bought it. Weeks later, the heater began to malfunction, and the home warranty company sent the same company to inspect.

The inspector found burnt gaskets, wires, and flame marks on the heater. He said, "It's hard to understand how anyone could miss these issues during the inspection." The technician failed to open the heater for a thorough inspection and yet they signed off on it.

When I pointed out their mistake, he said they would make it right, but sent me an estimate for over $10,000, even with the home warranty! This is dishonest! Avoid this company!

I set up an appointment on 9/17/21 with Discount Mechanical Heating and Plumbing that I hadn't heard of before via my home warranty.

I was informed that they were the recommended service by the HSA agent on the phone.

I have two toilets that are not fully operational, one of which is having a leak, and I have two toddlers, so I felt anxious when they scheduled my appointment for 11 days later.

We arranged our schedules to ensure we would be home for the appointment.

They called me the day before the appointment to inform me that they could not assist until October 28th, 2021, which is over a month from now!

This is outrageously unprofessional and a total failure.

Moreover, it turned out to be a significant loss of time.

I would give them no stars if I could.

I plan to ask HSA to select a different top choice.

This is unacceptable service!

After FOUR visits about a single issue, the technician did not show up within the scheduled time and failed to notify us. When I contacted customer service about my dissatisfaction, there was minimal support. As a landlord with several rental units, I cannot recommend their services to anyone.

I had a horrible experience with this plumbing company. I strongly recommend not using this company.

I reached out them because I faced a clogged drain. A technician arrived at my home, tightened the trap under the sink and then informed me that they do not perform that kind of work and they don't unclog drains. They billed me an hour's worth of work.

I checked the call recording with the technician and I specifically asked for assistance with my drain issue and they neglected to tell me that clearing drains is not something they do. I was charged a fee of $145 to adjust a T Trap.

They are a worthless plumbing company that doesn't do plumbing. During my conversation with the customer service manager, she acknowledged the mistake on her staff's part for failing to inform me about the issue they don't unclog drains. She said she would reimburse me for 30 minutes of work.

Upon her return call, she told me she would not reimburse anything after discussing with the business owner. I requested to arrange for the owner to contact me, but the owner was too much of a coward to get in touch with me.

Typically, I refrain from writing reviews, however I'm thoroughly impressed with my service. I will be using them for all my future plumbing and heating needs.

To start, they were able to get me on the schedule same day for a leak repair. I was a little surprised that I had to pay a fee upfront for the call out, however I understood that it's common for service providers to ask for an upfront fee, so I decided it was fine.

Following that, the reception team reached out to notify me that my technician would be delayed. Shortly after, my technician called to provide his estimated time of arrival. I also got a text with his name and picture, indicating he was on his way.

Third, my tech Peter let me know what he was doing and why. He was very thorough in finding the source of the leak. He was approachable and demonstrated a strong understanding of the issue. I will definitely be requesting him for all of my future repairs.

Fourth, I felt the service charges were reasonable especially for the amount of time spent. They utilize a flat-rate pricing approach instead of billing by the hour. I value this since locating a leak can take considerable time.

The first person they sent gave us a quote for parts we didn't need. Scott showed up and executed the correct repairs.

After the service, I encountered problems and he returned on a Saturday to fix the issues, which included issues I caused.

I can't speak for the company, but Scott did a great job.

I went through a unpleasant experience with Discount Mechanical Heating and Plumbing. Their team should be called a fraudulent service as the technicians charge excessively and are incompetent!

I was left charged in advance for their initial mechanic who spent two hours and acquired a component that was not faulty. After the replacement was delivered, it failed to resolve the problem!

I spent weeks putting up with these technicians! The components were 2x or three times more priced and they mislead about shipping speed. I terminated my service and contacted a different service.

The technician from that company arrived and recognized the issue in less than 15 minutes and they didn't charge for the visit! This company repaired my boiler and the components cost half the price than what those Discount Mechanical Heating and Plumbing estimated me! I wouldn't recommend them.
