We have an HVAC system installed 5 years ago. We started renting our house out fore years ago and the new tenants didn't realize they had to change the filter. During the Heatwave a few weeks ago the system stopped working. These guys came out pulled out the air filter which was completely clogged and then proceeded to write up this long estimate thousands of dollars worth of things that needed to be done to bring the system to a working order. however, once the pluged air filter was removed the system worked perfectly. We now have a new filter in it. That's all it was wrong just needed a filter. These guys tried every trick in the book to jack the price up and bill us for things that are completely unnecessary. Again our system is only 5 years old and works great. Just be honest with your customers guys. In the long run you'll build an honest reputation and loyal clients. I am having a problem with a floor furnace causing the latex paint to bubble on a nearby wall, but was not getting any help from furnace manufacturers or local dealers. A google search lead me to Dial Schilling Plumbing and I talked with Scott. He confirmed my thoughts of adding a deflector and checking the flame height and maybe the gas pressure.

Since he was cooperative so far, I asked him about a recent problem with a Bradford White water heater. On turnoff, it would cause a small bang about every thirty seconds in the mixing chamber before the burner, and maybe in the burner also. My guess was that the gas control valve was failing to totally shut off the gas flow. Bradford White refused to talk to me because I am not a licensed plumber. Scott suggested it might also be a leak at the pilot light. Worth checking out.

Scott mentioned that he repairs a lot of furnaces that other repairmen have supposedly repaired. I believe him. I trust people who can give you succinct logical possible explanations instead of long winded evasions and gobbledygook why they can't without a hundred dollar service call.

Can't say enough good things about this company. Seems like every heat spell, my old AC system breaks down for one reason or another. I know, need a new one, but don't want to spend the money so Dial ONE keeps it going by always showing up quickly and they fix the problem expertly and efficiently, often giving me options based on very fair pricing. Don't even think about calling anyone else!

Came out on time and friendly but feeling ripped off. They charged me $270 for 50 minutes of their time. He told me I needed two new heaters for $3000. To charge $270 for only 50 minutes of their time is just not right. Maybe there was some miscommunication because he did quote me $135 per thermostat but I thought that was if he would replace both thermostats. It's $135 just to check the thermostat. I work too hard for my money to give it away this easily. Not happy right now

I was selling my condo and called another company to service my AC/heater. They came, inspected, and said everything was working fine. But according to the buyer's home inspection, my heater was not working! So I called Dial One Schilling based on the Yelp reviews and the fact that they were able to come out the next day. Scott walked in and took one look at my thermostat and told me it was not the right one for the HVAC unit! And sure enough, the heat was not even connected (I never used the heater so had no idea)! He installed a new, correct thermostat and everything is working now. I would definitely use them again.

Called based on good reviews. Our heater stopped blowing. Was greeted by Scott who was very professional and explained that we needed a new inducer motor. Parts were ordered and we waited a day. Once the parts were in Scott quickly installed parts and made sure everything was in working order before he left. I would recommend and use dial one again.
