During the recent heat wave my air conditioning went out. I am 61, live in Liesure World, Seal Beach. I suffer from congestive heart failure and cannot tolerate heat. I called at 9 pm and left a message hoping to get a call in the morning. 10 minutes later, George the owner called me back and assured me someone would call me in the morning. Sure enough, George hooked me up with Mike and Joe. They promised me they would be out on their 3rd call. They also promised to advise me along the way. I received 1 call advising status and another 20 minutes before they arrived. Once Mike and Joe arrived, they had my ac up and running in 90 minutes. I am so happy and comfortable now that my ac works better than ever. I highly recommend Dial One Schilling for anyone needing plumbing, heating, or ac repairs or installations. I have had them come to my previous residence for plumbing and heater repairs.

I have used Dial One quite a few times and could not be happier. They have snaked the drain and installed a garbage disposal for me. Mike also snaked the drain at my parents house, as well as installed a clean out. He even relocated the front hose bib so I don't have to step in the mud to turn the water on. I recommend them to coworkers / friends and they always do excellent work.

I was out of town and when I came home at night my house was over 100 degrees because my forced air conditioning was out. I couldn't find a 24 hr. plumber until I looked in the yellow pages and found DIAL ONE. Unfortunately, there wasn't a service person available at 9:00 p.m. so they promised to be at my house at 8:00 a.m. in the morning. Scott and his partner were prompt, knowledgeable, professional and very nice. They fixed the problem immediately. I am happy to recommend DIAL ONE.

Excellent, friendly service! Mike was on time & did a great job fixing my toilet. He also did maintenance on my HVAC system and helped me install a reusable filter. He's very knowledgeable & the price was VERY fair! Good guys - I totally recommend!

Sad to say, but my experience this time was awful! Mike came by to clear a drain, because Scott wasn't available this day. I needed the kitchen sink cleared and before attempting to use a snake (cheapest option, and made most sense to try this first) Mike was trying to upsell me. Hate that I'm forced into researching repairs beforehand because upselling seems to be the norm now. He tried to persuade me into a $600+ plumbing work that involved tearing into walls and replacing plumbing. When I held firm to snaking first , nicely even, he got rude. In the end, the snake cleared the drain and it's been several months since I had the work done--no problems. I am always surprised when a business will forgo integrity to earn longterm customer loyalty over short-sighted, sell-for-high-profits today methods. I'm so turned off that even though my first experience was terrific with Scott, another plumber, it was so awkward that I'll just take my business elsewhere.

I understand that Dial One is a business, but after using them recently for a toilet issue that turned out to be just a flapper they took me to the bank. To be onsite for less than 30 min and charge $195.00 to replace a $6.00 part is a crime. Called to ask for an itemized breakdown of the work that was done and the gentleman I spoke with basically told me ""oh well."" I'll take this one as a loss, but I'll never give them business again. No matter who you use make sure to ask questions and get an itemized breakdown of any work because there's no such thing as good faith in the world anymore.

Our air conditioning system stopped working last night. After a night of sleeping in a very hot house, the wife & I started calling a/c service companies, looking for someone to come out today. The first 3 companies we called couldn't - one said the earliest they'd be able to come out was Tuesday! (Today is Thursday, by the way...) So I looked in the phone book and saw this company advertising with $25-off coupons so I figured, why not try them. They were in our attic less than one hour later.
It only took them about two hours to fix everything and I think their prices are reasonable. I thought Mike and Jason (I THINK his name was Jason) were very professional.
It is now very cool in our house, thanks to Dial One Schilling. Thanks guys!!
