PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I wish I would have seen the reviews before I paid my money. This company was assigned to me by my warranty company so I trusted their judgement. The owner came out to complete a service for my water heater. He told me the services were not covered to fix my water heater, but it could be replaced under warranty with the service fee. He assured me that all he had to do was order the hot water heater and he would come back by Friday to install it. I called Delmar Construction to follow up the next day and was told the hot water heater was not covered. However, I had already paid the service fee.

My insurance company sent this contractor out to check my plumbing, the service fee was $75. After the diagnosis, the plumber stated my issue was covered under the plan and he would contact the insurance company to let me know what my next step was. This is where the problem started, the contractor knew his machine called a hydro jetter was in the shop, in other words, he had no intention on coming back to fix my issue, he only was interested in the service fee. I called him back to explain my dissatisfaction, he promised me that he would contact me as soon as his his machine was fixed. I have never heard back from him, and have contacted the insurance company to have my claim assigned to a new contractor. Delmar's customer service absolutely sucks!!

I received a call 4 days after I requested service. When I finally received a call, I was hung up on when I pointed out how long it took me to get a returned phone call. I do not recommend this company.

Please beware!! If your warranty company recommends Delmar Construction, ask for it to be reassigned to a reputable company!! It took almost two weeks for him to call us to schedule an appointment. Then the day of the appointment he didn't show up! I texted him and he said he had an emergency and would come at 2. He called us at 1pm and said he wouldn't be coming! I have been waiting 2 weeks for a garbage disposal repair!!! Insane!! Delmar is completely unprofessional and I can't believe warrant company's would even use this type of company. Stay clear of this company!

This business was originally referred from the warranty company. The warranty company did not cover the repair which was a total waste of money that I never should've got it in the first place. He initially took $100 for trade call fee just peek through and quoted me later for $900 plus for replacement of busted ejector pump. It was a just rip-off because I contacted other local contractor and found out that pump was just clogged with papers and other debris. After removing them, the pump was fully functional, it only cost me $150 for removal and cleaning. Be aware! And stay away from potential scam, reviews from others sure reflect the dishonesty of this guy.

Paid 125.00 for my deductible for my kitchen sink that was leaking. the gentleman said that I had wear and tear on the sink....and that it needed to be replaced in order to fix the leak. Bought a new 300 sink and had it professionally installed. Called the company back to put the sink in and he said it would be another 200 due to the drain being different from the first original sink. Left without putting my pipes back in or drain line . Never use them....

I have a home warranty. One company came out and diagnosed but could not repair as they had not insurance for working in condo apparently. So the warranty company sent this Delmar guy the job... He was supposed to be out a week ago to replace a garbage disposal. After multiple """"No Shows"""" and constant excuses (or lies) as to why he did not keep an appointment or could not be reached, he finally kicked the service order back to AHS. The problem was already diagnosed and it appears to me that they were only looking to collect the service fee and not do any real work. Of course, I had rearranged two days of work and doctor appointments. Delmar is very unprofessional at a minimum and totally unreliable. But you can easily see that there is a pattern with the other reviews... Steer well clear of this """"supposed plumber."""" I am reporting all of it back to the warranty company and BBB.

Stay as far away from these crooks as you can. My warranty company sent them out for a second opinion on a stoppage issue. The owner Delmar himself came out. He was supposed to hydrojet the line which he appeared not to do and told the company there were roots in a pipe. The pipe and the roots didn't exist but he told the warranty company that to insure that the repair wouldn't be covered and then told me the repair would be $6,500! I told him I needed a written proposal to show hubby. He said he would send it that evening but he never did. He did text me two more times to ask when we were ready to do the repair (he was anxious to scam me out of my money) but still would not sent the proposal as he knew it was BS & the pipe he claimed ran along the side of my house and thru the backyard didn't even exist. He didn't want me to have proof of his lie. I texted and called but of course he never called back since he realized he didn't have a sucker. I found another amazingly honest and professional company (Arrowhead Plumbing) that came and repaired the actual pipe that was in front of house AND installed an extra cleanout for $4,000 LESS than the con man Delmar demanded. The pipe was within the foundation wall and should have been covered by my warranty company. Now I have the burden of trying to get American Home Shield to refund the money we paid out of pocket for a repair that should have been covered. Unless you enjoy being parted from your money, DO NOT USE DELMAR CONSTRUCTION for plumbing or anything else. I'm telling everyone I know to do the same.

I considered to be unprofessional and trying to take advantage of being connected to home warranty companies. I don't recommend using them.
