We've used them for 20 yrs in two houses. They installed both A/C units for both the houses we built. The first one was great and had it almost 14 yrs... our second home we've had issues since the beginning and it's cost us around $7k in maintenance and repairs in almost 7 yrs. The Lennox units they installed were lemons and even though on warranty we still had to pay a ton for labor. Service mgr won't even return our calls. We are done with them and I'll make sure all my neighbors know what Del Air has turned into.

I used Del-Air with a clutch! We have a new home and our first year of living there, our A/C gave us problems in the middle of the summer! We're not used to maintaining an A/C in Florida but Del-Air sent out a fantastic technician to teach us the ropes. They came out right away, gave us a few pointers, and fixed the problem. If you don't have a relationship with Del-Air, I would recommend having one, it's a great value and benefit to a home owner!

Del-Air, too often, dispatches technicians that cannot diagnose problems correctly. This leads to repairs that are incomplete and need another visit. All of this takes more of a customer's time away from their career and their family. I find Del Air to be an incredibly unfriendly vendor to customers. Please do not use Del Air for your HVAC needs. There are way too many other great options to consider.

Routine A/C service performed by Chris 11/15/23. Very professional and thorough. Would request him for future services.

I used Del-Air a few years back and the technician fixed the issue at a reasonable price so when I had an issue again and was quoted a ridiculous estimate from another company I decided I would call them based on that experience. They were able to get me scheduled quickly and the technician was polite and friendly. However, it had already been identified that there was a leak in the system that the technician found via a nitrogen check. As my AC was empty on refrigerant the Del-Air technician said that a few pounds would need to be added to the system to even test for the leak. The total cost of testing the leak couldn't be exactly quoted to me but was estimated at over $600 on top of the diagnostic fee I was already paying. I'm not sure if the company has had changes or if I just got lucky last time with who I got. I ended up getting the entire thing repaired, including refrigerant for less than Del-Air quoted me just for trying to find the leak.

Astara Capital Partners. Say that out loud, it has quite the sophisticated ring to it does it not? Prestige. Success. This is the private equity firm that purchased Del-Air from its founders. One would think their acquisition of once beloved Del-Air Heating and Air Conditioning would bring a new era of white-glove customer service. Has to be, right? Nothing, and I literally mean nothing could be further from the truth. The gift that truly elevates private equity firms from the rest of humanity is their talent for cutting costs, gutting valuable human capital, and squeezing the life out of anything they touch. Kudos Astara Capital Partners, not only for your hundreds upon hundreds of one-star reviews since killing Del-Air but also for the resolve to demonstrate the complete lack of giving AF that is the new hallmark of Del-Air's customer service initiative. My recent and definitely my last encounter with them was unquestionably the worst customer service experience I've ever endured. And I had Brighthouse Cable so that's a limbo-bar low expectation level to exceed, but Del-Air scurried under that with miles to spare. In summary the tech who visited my home for my semi-annual maintenance tune-up managed to short-out the system on his way out. The follow up visit to repair his damage only resulted in further damage to my system. The follow-up to the follow-up...you guessed it caused yet more damage. The next follow-up was simply a no-call no-show that had me waiting for 8 hours. That follow-up was...Yup...another no-call no-show. All told I wasted 30 hours, 2 dinner reservations and every bit of patience in me over the course of 3 weeks trying in vain to get Del-Air to fix the damage they themselves caused. I made a total of 13 separate pleas to have a supervisor contact me, I'm still waiting for the first response weeks later. If you are considering a new A/C system I highly recommend Del-Air's demolition team as destroying everything from an air handler to an entire company is their new area of expertise.

They are out to break your bank. I walked out and caught them trying to talk my elderly father into replacing his working unit for one 10xs the cost. And a free water heater for $2500? We all know that's only worth $600.. ashamed these guys are taking seniors money

Used to be the best. Currently the worst. Not the worst in Orlando. Or N. America. I'm talking the entire solar system. Sign their service contract. Seems like the smart move. AC broken? Call on Monday and they'll get someone there on Friday. Except they won't. They'll tell you your service window is between 1pm and 4pm. When you call at 4:30pm wondering where in the hell the guy is the call center people will take a message and get back to you. Except they don't. When the guy finally shows up Tuesday he'll likely take your minor AC problem and convert it to a full system failure. Nothing but fried circuits and """"man, we gotta order some parts."""" Save yourself the hassle and just beat your system to death with a sledge hammer. Same result.

Hello. We just had our A/C unit serviced and the technicians, Kyle and Leroy, were efficient and very professional. Thank you.

Our AC quit blowing cold air, since the unit is under warranty (5 years into a 10 year warranty) we called for repair. The tech they sent didn't speak very much English. I was told when I made the appointment that the service call is $95. That fee is waived if we do the repair. Since we needed the annual maintenance done we had the tech do that. He found a bad capacitor and replaced it under warranty. Then he said the drain line was clogged. No kidding he spent about two hours """"unclogging"""" the drain line. My husband pointed out that there was no water in the air handler pan and the line was draining just fine. The tech just kept trying to sell us an annual maintenance plan, over and over again. Of course I had to call the office and have someone translate what he was saying. When he was finished he tried to charge us the $129 annual maintenance plus the $95 service fee. Because he didn't speak English I had to call the office again and they had his boss text him. We paid the $129 only. Three weeks later the condenser fan motor went. I called, explained the fan motor was making a horrendous noise and smelled burnt. I was told it was under warranty. The tech came out and when he opened the unit the capacitor the last guy replace wasn't installed correctly. He confirmed the fan motor was bad but he didn't have one with him. He left to get the part and came back a hour later and fixed it. Then we got the sticker shock. We knew the part was under warranty, but labor was not. We never expected $530.00 for maybe an hour of labor. The tech then made a good show of trying to call the office and then his boss to """"make sure"""" the price was correct. He couldn't get through. Finally, I called the customer service line. The tech looked annoyed. They had his boss call him. Apparently, they have a flat fee service and not an hourly rate. That means if the repair takes ten minutes it's still $500. That's crazy. What it really means is they pad the price of the under warranty part into their flat fee and rip off their customers. They won't ever get my business again.
