I'm not sure why they aren't rated any higher. I've had a maintenance contract for over 20 years, and let it lapse a few months accidentally. Today, my AC is running perfectly and they allowed me to use my maintenance contract for this visit which saved me a lot of money. I've never had a bad tech. Oftentimes with the maintenance, they would find something that could be an issue and fixed without charge because of the plan. Every time I had service, the techs were kind, prompt and helpful. Never once did I have a bad experience. Do I like paying for new parts for a 14+ year old unit? No, but who does like paying for unexpected repairs.

Paid $704 on 3-27 for a service contract with this company. They were meant to come to my house today (4/28) and I was given a time frame of after noon. I called in the morning to double check this was still the case and was told that I was on the schedule. At 3.25, I called to see if they had any idea what time the tech might come. I was told they could not give me a time but the tech works until all his jobs are completed so it could be late. At 4.30, I called again to ask how late and all I was told was that they could see me on the schedule. At close to 5 pm. I get a call to say the tech will not be coming as they no longer service my area. Why then was I not told this on 3-27 when they took my money and during the three calls I made today. Something sounds suspicious and I am going to call my bank first thing on Monday morning. This is beyond disgusting and I would like the owner to pay me interest and money for the five hours I wasted waiting in for them. I am beyond angry as we are leaving for the season and now I have to find another HVAC company to do the maintenance on our system.

They are the worst company to deal with. we had month's of issues with our ACc unit that was due to their faulty repairs. After 10 different service men they finally got it working. 6 months later when the AC went out again, they were scheduled to come out on a Saturday. They ultimately neve showed up and never called. They have no consideration or custom service at all. I would not recommend them to anyone I wouldn't have even provided a one star rating but had to in order to make this post. I plan on making it my daily mission to make sure that no other family has to suffer and go through the nightmare that my family has with this company

I purchased a brand new unit, Del Air came in and it took literally 24 hours to install it. While they were doing that they ruined the 1st floor unit, to add more salt to the injury, they tried to claim that the unit was bad before they showed up. Next day several managers showed up to my house apologized and fixed the new and old unit. 3 months later the new unit stopped working, when they sent a tech out, he advised that the compressor went bad, how could this be in a brand new unit that was designed to work for 10 years?!?!? Anyway, we agreed to fix the unit in order to avoid the heat since we have a baby. 1 year later to the day, the unit stops working again, we called Del Air once more, AGAIN the compressor is bad!!! this time though, they advised that the labor is out of warranty and the cost to replace the part is $2500. I called I complained nothing came out of, their answer was it's what it's. I turned around and called the manufacturer """"Carrier"""", they advised this is not likely for the comprossor to go bad twice on a brand-new unit and instead Del Air need to rectify the issue. I called several AC companies after that they all agreed that Del Air is the root cause and that there is a deeper issue that should be addressed most likely due to the faulty original installation less than 2 years ago. Truly horrible experience and I would never be doing business with Del Air nor would I would recommend them to anyone else.

DelAir is in my opinion the Very Best Air Conditioning Company in all of Florida, Best quality products and workmanship and very Best service. Fair prices and competitive . I trust no one else and always use them for past 20 plus years now. I Love my 2nd TRANE after 20 years! Saves me on my electric bill since installed complete new TRANE system 17 seer last june. Absolute Scam. I am a property manager and I dealt with many hvac companies, but del air takes not even gold but platinum in my case . Hired company for diagnostics, told it was 119 usd , usually paid around the same where they would check everything that is wrong with the system , Del Air was told by me that there is a leak , the tech comes in and says there is no refrigerant, we'll duhh, we told service over the phone this , so hvac person says that will be additional 269 usd to find a leak , when it wasn't mentioned prior to be hired and were perfectly told that there is a leak and we know it and just want to know how much to fix issue ( replacing evaporation coil) so the other companies charge around 100 to 120 usd to do a full diagnosis , del air , 119 plus 269 usd... very unethical , I told owner to do a charge back for such scam, absolutely ridiculous with their hidden fees .

It took 2 technicians over a period of 3 days on 2 separate trips to restore heating, each with a completely different diagnosis AFTER a prior technician visit on a maintenance call less than a week before who confirmed everything was working without ever checking to confirm both heating and cooling was working on 1 unit and dismissing work on a 2nd unit after declaring a coil leak on a coated coil that was less than 5 years old after being replaced (at my expense) twice. After speaking with employees in Service, Parts, and Warranty, Del-Air's general attitude was that I should call the manufacturer (Lennox) to complain about problems with the units. After leaving several messages for a field supervisor to call me, I received a call after 1 week. I explained the situation and requested either compensation for the incomplete maintenance call or a complimentary maintenance for the following year. The supervisor indicated he was not authorized to take that kind of action and promised to check and call me back. I have never received contact back. Mismanaged maintenance visit, misdiagnosed problem, multiple visits to fix the same problem, apathy of employees, lack of follow-up to meet commitments. Sadly, this is not the Del-Air I """"used"""" to trust for my heating and air conditioning. This seems like a company on the verge of collapse.

get a 1 star because I can't rate 0 stars. total B.S I scheduled an appointment a few days ago to get my AC serviced. I get told oh the tech will be there in the afternoon. I call today to verify the tech was still coming out today. oh yes we will call you to let you know. I get the call that the tech will be here within an hour. 2 hours later guess what??! No tech. BUT I got a text to rate their service !! ha !! so I call to see what's the issue. The tech """"came out"""" and says there was """"police activity"""" and didn't feel safe?? NOTHING was going on over here. LAZY TECH EXCUSE! so looks like we will have to reschedule for tomorrow. ok fine so what time? oh sometime tomorrow??!! really ??!! no no no no!! this isn't the first time they pulled this BS either. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but it's always an excuse for late arrivals !! NEVER AGAIN WILL I CALL THEM !!! DONT waste your time trying to give them your money. they will waste YOUR time!!

Had a complete new system installed after waiting 2 1/2 months for a system that was allegedly in stock ​the system worked for a total of 10 minutes before the compressor quit. I reached out to the sales man he told to call the help line and has refused to help or make this right I had to wait on two different technicians to come and confirm the problem because the company apparently has no communication. Now I'm told they have to order parts from the manufacturer and they they don't know how long it will take I highly recommend staying away from this company and the run around game they play This company is very in professional
