Brenda C.I am very pleased with the service I received the other day. My air randomly went out, of course on a very Muggy day, and with a baby in the house, I needed it replaced immediately. Gave delair a call and they had the installers out the very next morning. I needed my outside unit replaced. The installers,Josh and ken, made the experience very pleasant and were friendly as can be. They did a great job outside and even made it look better than it did before! They explained everything in a way that made so much sense that I felt I was ready to work on my AC by myself . That will not be happening though, so next time anything goes wrong, I will be calling delair and I will be requesting Josh cinco and Ken berry and advise anyone else to as well. Great job guys !!!
C L.I hired this company before to cover my commercial properties. They missed appointments and had such a rude lady as dispatch manager! After years I gave them another try and got the exactly same treatment. They just don't show up or even call. Beware!
I cannot say enough good things about Del Air. We had a nightmare with other organizations looking at and commenting on our system. It needed to be replaced, relocated, etc., for many thousands of dollars. Then Del Air solved all our problems with their pros, for way less than we had been told by others. The REAL proof was when the city inspector came to look at it. He said to me, """"I NEVER HAVE ANY TROUBLE WITH DEL AIR"""". There's a message when the INSPECTOR, who look s at everyone's work, says that!
I have Del Air A/C and service contracts in both of our houses. Your company doses what they say and at a fair price. No better recommendation needed.
I have had Del Air two years in a row come and service my unit. Jose was here last week and he was so very knowledgeable and did a great job, also explained everything to me. They didn't try to say that I needed different parts, etc and just charged me for maintenance which I thought was very fair. If you're having trouble with your air conditioning unit give them a call. I would definitely recommend them!
I truly believe they overcharged me for service on a A/C just 2 years old. Almosr $1,200.00 for service that other well known companies claim should be half that amount. Be extremely carefull dealing with this company..
I have had my ac units serviced by Del Air for two years. They contracts are very expensive and they cover filter changes essentially (you supply the filters). We noticed the air starting smell funny so investigated in the attic The was a massive leak in a connection to the air handler in my attic which had obviously been there quite a while, long before the last maintenance call. I waited for 40 minutes on hold to schedule an appt during which I heard nothing but disclaimers about how it wasn't their responsibility. I just wanted it fixed. The guy came and started with the same disclaimers and that they were not responsible. Couldn't he just fix it? No he had to be sure that I understood that it was not included in maintenance. In addition, our attic was fully of trash that they had left on previous calls: wires, tubing, parts :0(
BEWARE.... They came out and said my coil was leaking, The unit was 15 months old, they called back and said the part was covered by warranty and I would only have to pay for labor and Freon. I agreed as I knew their charges from the 1st call out. The guy took under 3 hours and gave me a handwritten invoice for $1094. They are now ignoring my request for a break down of what I was charged for. Bad customer service, rotten way to treat a customer. Use another company that is honest and trustworthy.
Beau A.I had a newly built home. A/C units were installed by Del-Air. I ordered the filters that were currently in the handler online, when they arrived i found that one of the sizes was incorrect and the tech that installed the A/C unit and the filter may have """"adjusted"""" it to make it work for the time being. I was a little upset about this as i just purchased 6 filters online and they were all wrong. I called Del-Air's customer service team and the girl on the phone was very polite and apologetic. She was able to speak to her manager and make things right. I can tell that Del-Air truly cares about their customers and will do what is right (even for something as small as air filters). Because of the level of customer service they provided me they will have a customer for life.
Bruce B.I have dealt with Del-Air for more than 25 years. They have serviced my air-conditioners and my son's, and have replaced the units at our houses when needed. They have replaced the four units in my house at least twice and my son's a/c once for a total of at least 9 units possibly 13,(my memory for A/C units installed is faulty due to my blocking out the high cost of them) . They perform maintenance on my four units at home, the two units at my office, my son's and an a/c in Gainesville when they went there, and that of my sister-in-law. I thought this was a a service oriented company, and had continued to utilize their services, even though I could obtain those services cheaper elsewhere. My son's 1 1/2 year old air conditioner stopped working- a unit the Del-Air had installed and serviced twice yearly. The technician said that the blower was bad, and that that he did not have one on his truck. Because they did not have to manufacturer's part in stock, they could install a temporary motor for a rental fee of $125. Let me re-iterate- They did not have the part so they are charging an extra $125 ! How convenient. I called the company, and asked to speak with the general manager. He was """"in a meeting"""", and I was told he would call me back. To my amazement, he did call back. I explained the situation to him, and with a condescending, dismissive manner, he explained what I already knew. He did not care that we had a long history with the company. I do have to hand it to him, he was rude in the most polite way. I think he thought he was talking to a person of limited intelligence. and expected me to apologize after explaining the situation to me. The fact that i discussed moving my business, in a non-threatening manner, elsewhere fazed him not one whit. I can't understand that he is willing to lose all of my business over what I think is a revenue generating scam. I told him that I might not be his biggest customer, but I was probably his most loyal one. He did not care about this, and now I see that loyalty is valueless to this company, a """"so called"""" employee owned firm. I think it is just a case of the employee-owners, trying to wring every single penny that they can from their best asset, their customers, or in this case, a former customer. Funny how going from employees to owners changed their philosophy.
