Just finished reading a review about poor service with their comfort plan . Could not agree more . Last we heard from Dehart was back in May 2019 and now 7 months later no phone call or follow up of any kind. We have no interest with calling them especially since last time , they couldn't answer a question and even the owner never got back to us. Also when they came out, back in May of last year, they did not provide a filter anymore on their annual service as we were promised when we originally signed up. We have used Dehart for over 4 years.They have done plumbing work for us as well. But the quality of their work we also agree is not as good as it used to be.

Technician was very knowledgeable, but there is never a follow through with the service. Been using DeHart for the last 3 years and their service has been going down hill. I've recommended them to my family and they too are having the same issues with service. We are on their plan, but they don't call to schedule for the maintenance. Family have had issues with Technicians not doing their jobs and price of service is usually very pricey. I don't recommend them to anyone anymore. Ready to go with someone else since I have no heat and the temps are in the 30's at night. Good luck!

Neil Erwin from DeHart came to my home and installed the Nuvo H20 complete system. It includes a water softener and filter assembly for the entire home to remove scale buildup that ruins fixtures and valves as well as filter the water. I was very pleased with his service. He's a cool guy and explains everything he installs. He also tells me in detail why he is fixing or improving something in my home. He used all copper piping and installed quater turn ball valves which are much easier to shut off. He also installed a hose bibb for easy draining of the system when I have to change out the filters. I highly recommend Neil for your repairs, especially if they are complicated. He knows how to complete the job properly with good quality parts. Thanks again!

We knew our combined A/C and heater unit was on it's last leg so we started getting estimates. We had a competitor of DeHart do the first estimate and than DeHart was our 2nd. To be honest the cost was pretty close but the customer service from DeHart made it all the difference.

I called for an estimate about 10am on a Friday. They said someone could be out at 1:30. Alfredo Duran came out (early I might add) and was detailed in what he thought was best. He even got in the attic to check out our duct work. Mind you it was 102 on the day he came by. I felt good about the conversation but wanted time to think about it.

Well Sunday night our unit died! Monday morning I text Alfredo and he immediately called me back. He said they could start work on Wednesday. He handled the financing info and said they would be out Wednesday at 8am. Tuesday night I get a text asking if they can start at 7am. Heck ya! It was 104 out. The sooner the better.

Wednesday morning 2 trucks show up with 4 workers. They survey the situation and BAM they had two guys in my attic taking out the old ducts and one getting the old unit ready to be removed and another preparing the new unit. By 11am the new unit was on the roof and new ducts were being installed. They added a 2nd return and put in a new Nest thermostat. By 4pm I had a completely new system that is super quiet and cooling my house. The crew that put in the system should get a raise or at the least a bonus!

I got a follow-up call the next morning about fixing a small sheet rock issue. I had a few more questions and Alfredo was quick to reply via text and followed up with a phone call.

Everybody I have dealt with from DeHart has been professional, knowledgeable and understanding. What was a stressful situation was far less stressful because of DeHart. I will recommend DeHart to anyone who needs A/C, heating or plumbing.

Our AC finally did break down on us. We reluctantly called DeHart again, even after they ""couldn't find our house"" the 1st time around. They were going to charge us a $200 emergency service fee to come out same day. ($289, with the diagnostic fee) The window was also 5pm-8pm, so I wasn't confident they'd even be able to repair it that day. Thankfully, we were able to get Velting Heating & Air out to us early afternoon same day. NO EMERGENCY service fee with Jeff Velting! He managed to fit us in to his schedule, so he wasn't going to rip us off with an unnecessary fee. He found the problem right away, went & got the replacement parts, then came back & fixed our AC. Breath of fresh air (pun intended!) compared to our experience with DeHart. Avoid DeHart. They officially lost our business, and it's a shame, because we plan to completely replace our 30 year old unit in the next 6 months or so.

The owner responded on June 4th and said he would get back to us as soon as possible. Well it has been almost a month and a half and we have not received any reply. We have given them over 10,000 dollars in projects , new air conditioning, plumbing jobs inside and out and just recently a water filtration system . With all of that , we asked a simple question about our water system and we did not get a return response from the owner at all

I'm writing this review 3 summers later. 3 years ago our A/C started blowing hot air in the middle of a heat wave. Dehart came out the next day to take a look at it. The guy was up on the roof for maybe 3 minutes he came down and told me that the whole unit was shot and we would need to completely replace it. I was so upset. An hour later I had a salesman from the company at my front door telling me the cheapest unit I'd be able to get was going to run me $9000. Luckily, my husband and I like to get second opinions and we had a electrician come out and take a look at our unit. Our unit needed a new breaker which would cost about $80. Once we put the new breaker on our unit was running perfect once again and has been blowing freezing cold air the last 3 summers. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are trying to rip you off.
