I'm writing this review 3 summers later. 3 years ago our A/C started blowing hot air in the middle of a heat wave. Dehart came out the next day to take a look at it. The guy was up on the roof for maybe 3 minutes he came down and told me that the whole unit was shot and we would need to completely replace it. I was so upset. An hour later I had a salesman from the company at my front door telling me the cheapest unit I'd be able to get was going to run me $9000. Luckily, my husband and I like to get second opinions and we had a electrician come out and take a look at our unit. Our unit needed a new breaker which would cost about $80. Once we put the new breaker on our unit was running perfect once again and has been blowing freezing cold air the last 3 summers. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are trying to rip you off.

We are having a whole house fan, new A/C unit and furnace installed. So far, everyone involved has been friendly, courteous and helpful, that includes office staff, Deon our rep, and the crew at our house. More details later.

I wish I could give a zero for stars- they didn't show up to their appointment and did not call to tell me.

Scheduled a plumbing appointment from 2-5pm for today. Took off early from work and Waited until 5:15 to call and ask why they weren't there yet. The receptionist took my info and said someone would get right back to me. Waited until 6:15 and called back. The told me they could get someone to come out today but it would be a emergency service with an extra fee since it was past normal service hours... Because they missed the appointment. I declined and told them I would not pay the extra fee since it was the company that missed the appointment. I was told they would leave a message and someone would call me tomorrow about why the missed the appointment today. Terrible service! No respect for people's time, they don't want or need customers, use a company that cares.

I just want to thank the technicians at DeHart for their amazing customer service. We have had problems with our heater for the past two years. They have spent hours trying to fix our heater. I am pretty sure that the builders of our development did a horrible job when first installing the unit. Dehart has spent hours and changing different parts to get things right and making it work properly. The technicians are very honest with you and explain what the problem is and what they are doing to fix the problem every step of the way. Once they order and get the part they schedule your appt as soon As they can. They are also great at letting you know about their arrival and if they will be late. I appreciate everything you guys have done. I'm crossing my fingers that you guys got it all right this time. We will continue to do our maintenance through you. Thank you for all your hard work!

Tony is a genius. I had a Lennox Furnace installed by them, through Lowes, in Dec. It had a bad howling noise that sounded like a wind tunnel. It was persistent and I had them inspect to find the source. I understand it is a tough problem to diagnose and they were going to replace the blower, as it seemed to be the issue. Tony came out. Did a complete check over and found that THE FACTORY had left a spacer in that was supposed to be removed. He fixed it perfectly. Not only an excellent technician, he understands Customer Service. They have all my HVAC business, even though they are over the Altamont pass from me.

Zach came out today and repaired a hose bib , and ran a new hard water line for our plants. He did a great job and cleaned up after himself. De Hart staff are very communicative in setting up the appointment and following up prior to the date to make sure that it works for us. They are our go to plumbers.

Very professional and have hired them a couple times but sadly they screwed through the surface of my kitchen island under the sink.

Would hire them again but this really sucks considering I spent thousands of dollars to have my water purifier system and was very expensive to have it installed by DeHart.

2 stars is only because I am left with these screws poking out. I understand how they screwed up.

Update 11/15/2018: They contacted a very professional and kind carpenter to fix the damage to the island and now it looks as though no damage ever occurred.

I am very happy with their professionalism and promptness in taking care of the mistake and of course happy with the installation of the water purifier and previous work they have done to my home.

Update: I just had a maintenance check on my AC and hearing unit today and received service from a personable, knowledgeable and patient tech. The tech informed me of a problem with my AC that I never would have known about without the maintenance check. I love giving kudos for great customer service because it can be rare these days. Thanks, Alex, for your help.


I have been putting off calling someone about my heating problem because I thought that I would have to spend a fortune to fix what was wrong and I felt that it would be a problem to find someone to work with my schedule. Other agencies were quoting $75 dollars for a diagnostic fee. I was surprised to find out that DeHart has NO diagnostic fees AND they sent a technician out the following morning after I called! The technician was even early to the appointment! My technician, Carlos, explained everything thoroughly, and took the time to explore all possible problems and I felt that he was honest and sincere in his recommendations. After spending over an hour at my home, I thought for sure that my bill would be insane, but there was NO charge because it ended up being a dirty filter and some other dirty parts. I appreciate Carols for taking the time to explore ALL possible causes for the problem. I will definitely be using DeHart again! I decided to sign up for their maintenance plan since I didn't have a bill for the visit! Thank you

We had a 32 year old AC & Heater roof mount unit and duct work that DeHart came to replace. Jordan was knowledgable, friendly, and hardworking. He double checked everything to make sure it was working properly before he left, checking every room. For the first time since we moved in 9 years ago, our daughter actually has a bedroom that received adequate air from the vents and every room is the same temperature. Thank you so much Jordan and crew!

I called DeHart out for a water heater issue that we could not fix on our own. The technician was prompt and knowledgeable. He explained his process and even gave us a heads up of things we want to start preparing for in the future . . . ahem . . . new water heater. I would highly recommend DeHart.
