I have deep roots in plumbing, my father, his brother, and my great uncle are all retired plumbers. I started working alongside my dad at the age of five. During the summer of '87, I began my apprenticeship, and with 30 years of experience in plumbing, I founded Deerman Plumbing Service in early 2017.

At 48, I have a wealth of experience. I have been married for two decades, and we are the parents of three boys. Our firstborn, who is 21, is a master mechanic for a Chevrolet dealer. Our second son, 18 years old, is in training to join the United States Marine Corps. Our youngest son is 11. I spent almost seven years in the Alabama Army National Guard. Our family attends Gardendale First Baptist Church, and I take part in a men's ministry there.
