I have deep roots in plumbing, my father, his brother, and my great uncle are all retired plumbers. I started working alongside my dad as a young child on weekends. During the summer of '87, I entered my apprenticeship, and after 30 years in the plumbing field, I launched Deerman Plumbing Service in January 2017.

I am 48 years old. I have enjoyed 20 years of marriage, and we are proud parents of three boys. Our firstborn, who is 21, is a master mechanic for a Chevrolet dealer. Our second son, 18 years old, is in training to join the United States Marine Corps. The youngest is 11 years old. I spent almost seven years in the Alabama Army National Guard. We participate in Gardendale First Baptist Church, and I take part in a men's ministry there.
