As a third-generation plumber, my father, his brother, and my great uncle are all retired plumbers. I was introduced to plumbing by my dad as a young child on weekends. In the summer of 1987, I started my training, and after 30 years in the plumbing field, I established Deerman Plumbing Service in the beginning of 2017.

I have reached the age of 48. I have enjoyed 20 years of marriage, and we have three wonderful sons. Our firstborn, who is 21, is a master mechanic for a Chevrolet dealer. The middle child, aged 18, is preparing to serve in the United States Marine Corps. The youngest is 11 years old. I was a member of the Alabama Army National Guard for close to seven years. Our family attends Gardendale First Baptist Church, and I take part in a men's ministry there.
