I come from a lineage of plumbers, my background includes a family of plumbers, with my dad, his brother, and my great uncle all having retired. I started working alongside my dad as a young child on weekends. During the summer of '87, I started my training, and after 30 years in the plumbing field, I founded Deerman Plumbing Service in early 2017.

At 48, I have a wealth of experience. I have been happily married for 20 years, and we have three wonderful sons. Our firstborn, who is 21, is a master mechanic for a Chevrolet dealer. Our middle son, who is 18, is training to become a United States Marine. Our youngest son is 11. I served in the Alabama Army National Guard for nearly seven years. We are active members of Gardendale First Baptist Church, and I take part in a men's ministry there.
