The stuff at this center was very effective at finding the right people for the job.

They even mentioned that if for any reason the person they send is not suitable for the job you can always call them and they would be able to find you someone else right for you.

To avoid miscommunication with the helpers, I would suggest you to talk to the stuff on the desk first prior making any decisions on picking up or dropping off someone.

I picked up a cleaner here this morning, she cleaned my bathroom and kitchen for 1.5 hour only! She is hard working and thankful. I took for for a in and out drive through which made her day and I feel great after doing so! I also donated some clothes to them just now! I didn't know this place gives donation receipt, I'll donate my stuff from now on ! :)

I am a volunteer here at the center and I have had the greatest experience. Everyone here is so friendly and the workers are very passionate about what they do. They always put 100% into their work and it shows. I would recommend using the center more than anyone else because they are very skillful and in addition using the center helps out workers who are in need of work.

I wish I could write a more positive review. I have had very mixed success with this center. Although I live in Sunnyvale, on the Mountain View line, I'm now going to San Jose for my workers. The first worker I hired was WONDERFUL, but I've been unable to get him back. The next one I hired insisted I bring in his friend. They installed drywall, which it turns out they installed upside down in many places. They also spent a great deal of time chatting and not working. Lastly, they installed many small pieces that basically fell down.

I know how to install drywall myself but unfortunately had a bad ankle sprain. I ended up having to take down much of the work and redoing it OR trying to compensate for the shoddy work in my skimming. It was far more work than having just done it myself. What a waste of hundreds of dollars.

The next time I tried to hire someone, I shut down my AirBnB for a week to accommodate the work to be done. The night before the worker was supposed to show up, he cancelled due to another job. All the center did was apologize.

I've used the Day Worker Center many times and ALWAYS have an exceptional experience. From Anna and Maria in the office to the various workers themselves, the Day Workers Center comes through for me every time. I have my own business assisting people with organizing their lives and I frequently need extra hands to help a client move, clean-up, downsize, etc. Being able to call the Day Worker Center and knowing I'll get hard working and trustworthy individuals helps me provide better service to my clients.
I would highly recommend this organization to anyone needing any kind of assistance. It's a five star winner.

We had a leaking dishwasher for almost and month and had no clue how to fix it, the quotes we got from amazon are among 70 bucks and takes more than a day to book or get to a human, then frustrated then as I was trying my luck on yelp and filed an online request to DWC, they called me back in literally 10 minutes and offering me a same day appointment. We had to drive our handyman Tom from the center and back, but the center was really close thus not a problem at all, and Tom finished the job in less than 30 minutes plus helping checking our drainage, everything was good like a charm! We paid a full hour price + tips anyway and the price is still much better than the quote we got from amazon, will definitely contact DWC again if we need other household help. Highly recommended!

Five-star all around experience. Was my first time using the center and a recent move required some painting work and cleaning. Hired two workers, one for painting and cleaning and had a fabulous experience. My painter was so good, I kept him on for a total of three days and I had him do extra rooms. I even had him paint every piece of trim in the house and redo all of my vanities. Incredible attention to detail and did not leave a drop on the floor despite not using any tape! No, he didn't move fast, but he didn't waste time either, worked 4 hours to lunch and then another 4 hours after lunch, never slowing down.

My cleaner was great, she scrubbed my stove and oven for two hours, getting every nook and cranny clean. (it was that dirty). I'm really picky about windows and every window was cleaned inside and out, including all the window jams.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful when I told them what I needed. Since I had the workers all day, I took them to a taqueria and bought them lunch each day, easy enough. I paid them through lunch, so I considered that my 'tip'. Absolutely got my money's worth and trusted them enough to leave them at my house alone while I went and did errands. They're all part of the Day Worker Center so they're not going to mess around, the DWC doesn't appear to keep anyone in this program that causes problems, so I felt very comfortable with them.

Will absolutely use them again!

With a little trepidation, I emailed the Center to reserve two people to help with a demolition of the interior of my garage. The 2 gentlemen that came to work (well, I picked them up at the Center) were fantastic! One could speak English pretty well and I speak a little Spanish, so we had no problem communicating. They knew what to do, the poor guys had very little hand tools to work with (my bad!). But they knocked out everything and more that I needed done. It was a whole day's worth of work. I thought I might need 2 days, but they were relentless and tireless and got it all done in 1 day! I'm looking forward to hiring again through the DayWorker Center. I highly recommend them! I was very impressed and also very impressed with the Office workers that set it all up. Overall a wonderful experience.

we have many little projects in the house that needed done quickly and couldn't find any handyman that can come help us immediately. the Day Worker Center of Mountain View came to rescue and we were lucky to have Joseph G. finished all of them in 2 and 1/2 days.

Joseph was prompt, courteous and very respectful to our property. his work surpassed our expectations, and his attention to details was a bonus. one can tell that he takes pride in his work. we were very grateful.
