I had called them to requested a quote and this older man came to my door and I asked if he was going to give me a quote? He said no Im here to do the work. I said thats not possible because I had not agreed to it and I mentioned it was a stackable washer and drier and one person cannot do it.
He told me that I never mentioned it was stackable and he drove all the way down here. I told him Im sorry but I didn't agree for him to do the work only a quote. He was upset and as he was walking away he called me a rude name.
So if you need someone to tell you they will come over to give you a quote and expect you to have them do the work in spite of how much they will charge. Oh and have someone call you names, then these are the people to call.

Called Day & Night Plumbing when it appeared I had a slab leak. Dave recommended a leak detection service, to isolate its location. It turned out the leak was in my hot water line beneath my kitchen cabinets. Dave quickly and professionally re-routed my kitchen hot water line from the hot water heater through my garage to the kitchen. Everything worked on the first attempt and I couldn't be happier! Dave's price for doing all this work was more than reasonable. I've finally found a plumber in San Diego who works hard, does a great job, and offers his services at a reasonable price! Highest recommendation!

I usually fix my clogged drains with a hair dissolver product, but last week my bathroom sink still took 20 minutes to drain after I had treated the drain twice with hair dissolver. I removed the trap from under the sink and shined a light into the drainpipe that went into the wall. It looked like hardening of the arteries - it was amazing that water could get through there at all. I tried digging through the blockage with a screwdriver but it was too hard - like mineral deposits or something. I knew I needed a pro that could get through the blockage without breaking the pipe inside my wall. After reading a favorable Yelp review of Dave's work, I gave him a call. He was able to come out in the evening and had my sink draining like new in less than an hour and for a fair price with no damaged drainpipe. What a relief! Thanks, Dave!

Had a clogged main drain late on a weekend night, he answered his phone promptly and we settled on an appointment 1st thing SUNDAY morning. He was at my house, on time, fixed my issue, no hassles, no bs; the kind of interaction we all wish we have with people. If another plumbing issue comes up, this will be my plumber. Jeff

Didn't seem to know how to hook up the dishwasher, just went on recommendations from the guy at the store as to what to get instead of telling us that he wasn't sure. Ended up having another plumber come out to fix what broke. Although he did come back out, saw what he should have done differently, and paid me for the second plumber

I called Dave to get an estimate for a relatively minor plumbing job (running a water line from my garage outside and then installing a hose bib). He set an appointment to come by the house but never showed and didn't call to reschedule. I guess my job was too small for him. I called another plumber who came out the next day and did the job.

When I called he said he'd be at my place at 3:00 pm and that he'd call me back to get the address, which he never. When I called him back at 3:22 pm he said he couldn't make it out because he was too busy. Real nice. I could've found another plumber instead of waiting around for him when he didn't intend to show up. He could've extended me the coutesy by being upfront from the beginning or even called me back to let me know he was going to be a no-show.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

I called Day & Night Plumbing after talking to three other companies, and I'm so glad I decided to go with them. The price they quoted me was cheaper than the rest, and they came the same day on a Saturday.

Problem: I had a corroded valve that needed replacement before a new washer could be installed. Other plumbing companies: one company wanted to charge me $232 an hour + parts. Another company wanted to cut through the wall to change something or the other. Another company was a headache to deal with just to make an appointment.

My experience with Day & Night Plumbing: making an appointment was easy. Kevin called me and let me know he was one his way, and came through at the given appointment time. He got to work and fixed the problem for $55! And he didn't cut through the wall!

Couldn't be happier with the service, and will call them for all future plumbing issues.

I had a leaky water heater and called day and night 8am on a Saturday. He was here within the hour and quickly replaced the leaky tank. Having compared the cost to other highly rated plumbers he offered a competitive price and was the only one who could repair the heater immediately. He was a very nice guy as well. Highly recommend.
