Dave literally saved our Christmas. We had a burst pipe the afternoon of Christmas Eve leaving us with no water. He took time out of his own holiday, responded right away, quickly found the issue and repaired it. We are still learning the ins and outs of this house and he gave us a lot of helpful information along the way. Trustworthy, experienced, reasonable, and just a really great guy. Highly recommended!

Would not recommend. we had a very bad leak from the top floor into our garage. Called Dave's plumbing and repair to come out and fix it. The workers showed and put fans out to dry everything. The following day we noticed the leak was still just as heavy and flowing. Called another company just for them to confirm that the leak was in fact not fixed and they did not do anything to try to fix it. A waste of time and money and definitely got a refund!

I just realized that I never posted a review even though we used Dave's Plumbing a second time. Approximately five months ago we had problems with our hot water tank. I called Dave and he arrived about an hour later as he said he would. He took a look at our tank, quoted a replacement to us and said he would return the next morning. He returned, I think it was at 9:30AM, with a new hot water heater and he and his son had it installed along with a few new pipes, loaded the old one in his truck, cleaned up everything and left by 11:30AM. We will call Dave again if needed.

I have used this company twice before and I was very satisfied. I called today (Saturday) because of an issue with my sump and he was onsite within an hour. I was very impressed with how quickly he diagnosed and corrected the problem and I couldn't beat the price. I highly recommend this company because of their work, integrity, and customer service.

Dave came to the rescue again last night. Our sump pump went out just as the storms were coming. After a long day, Dave drove 45 minutes to our house and replaced our pump. He started at 7:30 PM and finished close to 10 PM. Thank you much for taking care of us. You really care about your clients! We so appreciate you!

I spoke to Dave on the phone & he explained that he would be sending out two of his technicians to do the work. I had a bad sewage backup coming up from my laundry room drain and basement shower. This has happened to me before, about a month after purchasing my home I began having backups. I've had several plumbers out to do work as I previously had a warranty which is NOT worth it! They send out these cheap, rude, & sloppy companies for all your calls. The plumbers were always at least an hour away, closer to Chicago.
I finally got rid of the warranty last October so when this new backup happened I had to find someone local who I could depend on and trust. I've dealt with 3-4 other plumbers/handymen in the area and I can't say I'd use any of them again. Dave's is completely different! Dave spoke to me about my issue in length on the phone trying to access the problem. It was 12:15 and he says his 2 guys would be at my house shortly.
At 1:15 his 2 guys showed up, introduced themselves and walked the basement. They explained what they would be doing and right away began laying down floor coverings. They put booties on right as they entered my home.
They carried their equipment downstairs and had pushed through the clogged area quickly! This made me so happy because that enabled me to get the price of the lower quote! They informed me that the cap on the clean out valve was too hard to remove so they had to cut it and had a new one delivered before they finished up. As they packed up the equipment they ran water everywhere making sure everything was flowing smoothly. They cleaned up their area with extreme care!
While I was down checking everything out, my 13 yr old Golden retriever made it downstairs as she loves men. She has very bad, weak hips so she NEVER goes downstairs as she can't get up on her own. I struggled to get her upstairs when finally I asked one of the men if they could please help me. They didn't hesitate, the young man rushed over to the stairs and got behind my girl to help her and she made it up! That's going above & beyond!
To sum up this very long review; THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING! I was so upset having to deal with all of this as I'm recovering from 5 surgeries & recently divorced. It's just been a sh!# year! Literally! I would have no problem whatsoever allowing these guys into my home if I was not there. The owner Dave took a chance on trusting me as I don't get paid until late Sunday and he let his guys come do the work on a Friday. This is a great group of people to deal with & trust in your home. I am so happy to have found a local plumber I can count on for future plumbing needs. Their prices are extremely fair and their work is outstanding!

Dave was very prompt and professional during the quoting process and although not the cheapest, it was very clear what was in the estimate. His crew was on time, cleaned up very well, and the installations were done to our expectation. We did have one item that needed adjustment. Dave came out himself to look at our concern and took care of it with no questions. I will recommend Dave's Plumbing and Repair Service to anyone that need services that they provide. Pricing for what they did was very fair and we know that if we have any problem or questions, they will take care of it for us. Very hard to find an honest service business these days.
