Awh, Dan is a real gem of a guy! I hired Dan's plumbing to flush my tankless water heater. When the chemical solution he typically uses caused a smell in my water so strong that I didn't feel comfortable drinking it, Dan returned to my home 2x to flush it out with vinegar. He was incredibly accommodating and said he looked at this event as ""an opportunity to learn"" and would from now on use only vinegar. What professionalism and amazing EQ! I've since hired Dan's Plumbing for other work and the team is excellent. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dan's Plumbing. Dan is an independent ""local,"" ie, he lives in San Rafael and his business is located here. He responds immediately to requests for service, and has a first rate team of plumbers. A few days ago the water diverted on our tub's shower faucet went out. I called on Friday, and Marvin, one of Dan's ace plumbers, was dispatched to come on Monday. Marvin was prompt, made an efficient assessment of the problem, ordered the necessary parts and came back two days later to make the repair. I've used Dan before: his men are consistently professional; his prices are stated up front and fair. I've come to trust his service without question!!

We have used Dan's for all sorts of plumbing from installing new toilets to unplugging drains, and fixing the kitchen sink. We just had them install a new Insinkerator garbage disposal. We have always found them to be helpful, on time, and fast. They never try to upsell anything and their technicians are always helpful and ultra efficient. Dan's team did an amazing 2 jobs the past week. First they came out on two days notice and fixed a water main leak that was causing havoc under our house. Shane the plumber explained everything and installed new pipe, regulator, shutoff and valve... all in just a couple of hours. The second part of the job was today as Marvin was scheduled for clean outs of our sewer lines. Instead he flushed the toilets, determined the sewer line wasn't the issue, and measured for new toilets -- ours as 30+ years old. Marvin instead spent time putting in new pipe under our sink where the old kitchen drain pipe cracked off and then cleaning out the kitchen/dishwasher drain line. He did a great job diagnosing the issue and engineering a great fix. We will definitely call Dans when we encounter plumbing issues again. Lastly, Amelia the scheduler, was in constant communication making sure all the appointments were on time.

Long time fan of Dan's Plumbing. While vacationing 6500 miles from home, we had to call Dan because the hot water heater at one of our businesses was leaking. A quick call to Dan and his team and the problem was quickly accessed, water heater replaced and up and running for our return 4 days later. Dan was a life-saver! We had a broken irrigation pipe on the outside of our house, which was a flooding danger. It was after hours, and we were struggling to find someone to help. Dan facetimed us and helped get the main water line turned off and then called a few other plumbers who could come assist that evening. He did all of this out of the kindness of his heart (we were not a previous customer), and we are so grateful. Cannot more highly recommend.
