I did not get to admire the fine work of Dan's Plumbing Service lauded by others on Yelp. But, I discovered a broken water pipe just outside our house when I returned home from work last night. Bernadatte returned my call within a half-hour. Dan's didn't have any available plumbers for the next day so Bernadtete gave me the name of another plumber she trusted and she even followed up with me the next day to see if the other plumber responded and/or if I was still in need of service. That is 5-star worthy in my book! I'm not sure the other plumber's price was so great -- it seemed a a bit dear to me -- but it was an emergency, they responded right away, and seemed to do a great job so I went with it. Thanks!

Very happy with Dan's job associated with our bathroom remodel. We supplied the valve and shower parts, Dan prepped it with new plumbing, roughed in the new drain, and then installed the master shower, sink faucet, and toilet at the end of our tiling and remodel project. He was on time, took his work very seriously, and did exactly what we wanted. Dan and his helper were prompt and professional. Couldn't be happier with his work!

I discovered that we had a backed up sewer and called Dan based on the Yelp rating. I'm glad I did. He called me back promptly and was even going to give me references if I didn't want to wait until the end of the day. But I did and he showed up, snaked/rooted the drain, and was done with the job before that other MV plumber even called me back. He was reliable and up front about his availability. We'll definitely call him again.

Highly recommend Dan's Plumbing and Sewer Service. Our usual plumber was off over the holidays and Dan was available on a Saturday. Not a special weekend charge just regular hourly fees. He and his associate, Thomas, arrived earlier than expected and arrived within 20 minutes of their notification call. He dealt with a serious shower blockage, did not give up with snaking and try to up-sell more costly intervention. Done in under an hour!!!!! Local guy, very professional and worth his reasonable fees.

Dan's Plumbing Service was fantastic! Our sewer line was backed up two days before Christmas! Their company was fully booked for the day so they gave us a few other numbers to try. Dan personally checked back with us at the end of the day and when he found out it hadn't been fixed he came out at the end of his work day.

He fixed the problem in 30 minutes and did a more thorough job than previous, well-known plumbing companies had in the past. As if that wasn't enough, he charged a fraction of what one of the other companies wanted to charge for an ""after hours"" call.

It's nice to know there are companies out there like Dan's Plumbing that you can trust. From now on, we know who we'll call first.

Call Dan before you waste your time with others. Can't recommend these guys enough! What a life saver.

We had a water pipe break this morning and water was gushing everywhere. After turning off the main water source, we were facing no water for the whole weekend without emergency plumbing service.

I called three plumbers before Dan and was very disappointed. Dan answered my calls twice, let me know exactly when he could come out, was very professional and clear communicating over the phone. Dan quoted the job honestly, fixed the problem and offered advice on preventing the problem in the future. We were very pleased with Dan's service and will use him again.

These guys were great - I was really worried I had a big awful problem on my hands and Dan fixed it quickly. Explained the fundamental problem (insufficient slope on an old cast iron sewage line under the house) and that it could be replaced someday for $X. BUT told me not to worry about it too much and that it can wait.

What plumber tells you not to worry about it - that it can wait - rather than getting you all worked up and selling you the service right then and there?

Apparently, Dan is that plumber. He's now permanently in the rolodex (aka contacts section of iphone).
