Company Overview

Our company focuses on timber harvesting primarily to align clients' expectations while promoting eco-friendly forest practices to maintain that your forest remains productive and ready for future extractions. We aim to improve your wood growth by removing overgrown trees, allowing smaller timber to flourish without interference from older trees that block light and slow their growth. We can execute a total clear cut, we usually avoid such methods unless required for agricultural needs.

Additionally, we provide hazardous tree removal for city clients dealing with unsafe or unsightly trees. We specialize in removing trees rather than shaping them.

We provide 0.50 & 1.00 cubic foot bundles of logs for BBQs and home heating. Soon, we will introduce cord wood.

Started in Clever, MO in 2013, we began with nothing more than cutting tools and a Chevy flatbed truck doing wood extraction for friends and taking firewood to my family for their heating needs. With increasing calls, we developed our services to include collecting and delivering fuel wood for stoves. Eventually, we enhanced from a single truck, a few cutting tools, and a manual splitter to two trucks, a mechanical splitter, a transport trailer, multiple saws, and a ditch witch we converted into a log skidder. Currently, April 4, 2020, we are assembling a loading machine to boost production and streamline our loading process, so we don’t need to load trucks by hand. Progress is promising.

I founded Daniel Carpenter Services in 2013 to acquire timber for logs and repurpose the tops for firewood, which I delivered to my relatives since that was how they warmed their house instead of allowing the branches to decay in the woods.
