This company sent a technician to do work at a project and they hook a gas line to a water connection which caused thousands of dollars in damage. After contacting the owner, he agreed that they were in the wrong and said he was issuing a check. When we went to pick up the check, he wasn't there and then said he wasn't responsible. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A FRAUD, AND ARE UN PROFESSIONAL!

Wish that I could give no stars. I don't rate businesses on yelp often so know this comes from the heart. Avoid this business at all costs!! Dishonest, unprofessional and deceitful. I called them out to my house to do a simple fix on a broken outside faucet. Tried to help where I could. Helped dig the hole, provided water to the technician because it was a hot summer day, etc. When they came to get paid I was charged $1600 on a fix that after consultation with local plumbers should have been $400 at most. Discussed my concern with the owner and he promised to hold my check until we resolved this issue. He lied! Deposited my check and then sent me a check for $148 to try and make me go away. They will respond that this was a weekend fix and was more expensive because of this but no one told me of any up charge because of the day and was never given a quote prior to work being done. Plenty of good honest people out there. Save yourself the headache and move on past these scammers

I called this company on a Sunday and I was told 2 hour turn around for a call. After me calling the office several times almost 3 hours later I received a call from the tech. He fans out and then asked me if I really wanted to job completed ok a Sunday that the hourly rate is normally $315.00 but with it being Sunday it would be 1.75. I arranged for him to come back out Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to complete the job. He agreed said I didn't need to call the office and schedule anything that he would come back out fix the issue in the backyard and he would take my payment over the phone. It's been almost 2 weeks ago and I've tried to text the tech no response. We are having other work completed at our house and the contractor used his guy yesterday and it cost me $50.00. I would not recommend this company at all due to their customer service.

They showed up quickly in the middle of the night to stop a leak. This was in Denton. Everything after that was downhill. They did not finish the job but promised to come back and finish. After a week I called and left a message. Again and Again. I also sent emails. I finally was able to get someone to answer the phone and the young lady promised I would get a call from a service person and get the job finished. No one ever called. The original service was Oct. 9, 2019. It is now Jan. 29, 2020, the job is not finished and I have not heard from them. I gave them over 3 months to make this right, but now I have to post a negative review about them. I certainly would never use them again nor recommend them.

Dad and Sons Plumbing was responsive and professional in their service to me. I had a simple problem, leaking water from my toilet. It was handled quickly, with courtesy and well done like it was the most important one they had. Cooper the repairman was prompt and did the work well. When the job was done I felt like I had a new bathroom. He works quickly, efficiently with an emphasis on quality work. He was pleasing to work with and was efficient in his explanation of his work. The whole experience was made me a fan of this company and a new customer. They were fair in their pricing and the office staff was attentive and courteous. Great job Dad and Sons Plumbing, y'all have my recommendation.

I called Dad and Sons and set up an appointment to have water heater installed. I called to cancel. The Assignment manager asked me why. I was honest and told him I read they had bad reviews of which he assured me he would do a great job. I allowed them to install the water heater. Which was installed to perfection. But the hot water didn't last long. Twenty-seven days later to the day I called to see if someone could come out and adjust the thermostat? I called 3 days straight, they wouldn't answer the phone and if they did answer it was always will call back and they never did. They gave me the run around and still no one came out. Finally, I made the comment " IF I knew how to do it myself I would". I called and they GAVE ME INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO ADJUST THE THERMOSTAT MYSELF AFTER PAYING OVER $1300, THIS IS THE SERVICE YOU GET FROM MAMA and PAPA places where everyone is related... FOR this minor request I would have rather paid more money and got better service. Would I recommend Dad and Sons Plumbing to anyone else.. NO!!! I WOULD NOT!!
