I called this company on a Sunday and I was told 2 hour turn around for a call. After me calling the office several times almost 3 hours later I received a call from the tech. He fans out and then asked me if I really wanted to job completed ok a Sunday that the hourly rate is normally $315.00 but with it being Sunday it would be 1.75. I arranged for him to come back out Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to complete the job. He agreed said I didn't need to call the office and schedule anything that he would come back out fix the issue in the backyard and he would take my payment over the phone. It's been almost 2 weeks ago and I've tried to text the tech no response. We are having other work completed at our house and the contractor used his guy yesterday and it cost me $50.00. I would not recommend this company at all due to their customer service.

They showed up quickly in the middle of the night to stop a leak. This was in Denton. Everything after that was downhill. They did not finish the job but promised to come back and finish. After a week I called and left a message. Again and Again. I also sent emails. I finally was able to get someone to answer the phone and the young lady promised I would get a call from a service person and get the job finished. No one ever called. The original service was Oct. 9, 2019. It is now Jan. 29, 2020, the job is not finished and I have not heard from them. I gave them over 3 months to make this right, but now I have to post a negative review about them. I certainly would never use them again nor recommend them.

Dad and Sons Plumbing was responsive and professional in their service to me. I had a simple problem, leaking water from my toilet. It was handled quickly, with courtesy and well done like it was the most important one they had. Cooper the repairman was prompt and did the work well. When the job was done I felt like I had a new bathroom. He works quickly, efficiently with an emphasis on quality work. He was pleasing to work with and was efficient in his explanation of his work. The whole experience was made me a fan of this company and a new customer. They were fair in their pricing and the office staff was attentive and courteous. Great job Dad and Sons Plumbing, y'all have my recommendation.

I called Dad and Sons and set up an appointment to have water heater installed. I called to cancel. The Assignment manager asked me why. I was honest and told him I read they had bad reviews of which he assured me he would do a great job. I allowed them to install the water heater. Which was installed to perfection. But the hot water didn't last long. Twenty-seven days later to the day I called to see if someone could come out and adjust the thermostat? I called 3 days straight, they wouldn't answer the phone and if they did answer it was always will call back and they never did. They gave me the run around and still no one came out. Finally, I made the comment " IF I knew how to do it myself I would". I called and they GAVE ME INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO ADJUST THE THERMOSTAT MYSELF AFTER PAYING OVER $1300, THIS IS THE SERVICE YOU GET FROM MAMA and PAPA places where everyone is related... FOR this minor request I would have rather paid more money and got better service. Would I recommend Dad and Sons Plumbing to anyone else.. NO!!! I WOULD NOT!! If I could give zero stars I would. I can't rate them on their actual work because they never did any actual work due to the poor customer service. The day of the appointment they gave me a 5 hour window of when they would actually show up. 3 hours into this time window, I get a call saying they need to reschedule because they did not contact the City of Dallas soon enough to turn off the water at the home so that they could do the work. We had talked 2 days before the appointment was set, so they had 2 days to do whatever was necessary with the city of Dallas. Again they called 3 hours into the arrival window saying they had to reschedule. It was a waste of my time because I had to take off work to be at the home. Because they weren't prepared and they failed to tell me until almost the end of their arrival window, I cancelled with them and did the work myself. Terrible customer service.

Update: Don't believe the owner's comment. As stated in my original review, I was called 3 hours into my 5 hours window of when they said they would arrive at the house. This is when they told me they needed the City of Dallas to shut off the water. At that point I told them that I, as the homeowner, can turn off the water for them. They still cancelled even though I told them the water would be shut off. It was a Friday afternoon so I believe someone wanted to get off work early so they found any excuse to do so.

I am a manager at a restaurant in aubrey, I had Daniel come out to work on my ice machine. They were the 8th plumber I called and out of all of those, they were the only ones who would come out today. To my surprise, they were here in less than an hour. He came in, fixed my problem and was out in less than an hour! What service. Super nice great guy. I'm so glad I found them. Best google search I've done ! Will be using again!
