I highly recommend D Martel plumbing. Called 3 other recommended plumbers. One wasn't taking new jobs until November. One quoted me more than $100 over D Martel. The other never called me back. Dan came out the day I called and gave me an estimate. Came back the next morning and did the job perfectly. Very professional and clean. You won't go wrong with D Martel.

I contacted D. Martel regarding a leak on a supply water pipe to my home. The leak was keeping a second floor area wet in an area where we are preparing to place water proofing material and pour a stamped concrete deck.

The receptionist who answered my call was very friendly and scheduled a service call in two days. When Dan arrived he looked at the leaking pipe and wet area involved and said yes he could repair the pipe. He quoted a very fair price for the repair. He needed additional fittings for the copper pipe fix, left for about an hour, returned and had it fixed in about an hour. Did a great job, kept his work area neat and clean.

Now we can proceed ahead with water proofing and concrete pour.

Dan as I found out is the owner of D. Martel Plumbing. I would highly recommend him and his company for your plumbing needs. I will certainly call him with any plumbing needs I have in the future and would recommend his company to other

Just had Dan, one of the owners here working on my home. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Everything I heard about this company is true. Dan wore a mask and was patient with all of my questions and concerns.

He fixed the toilets and faucet and gave me sound advice on a few other issues of concern.

This is our second service call with D Martell Plumbing. First one was for replacing a water heater and adding a recirculation pump to save water. That call was done by Dan. The second call (today) was to replace a main waterline leak. That service call was handled by Trevor.

Both times, they showed up on time, did the work well and promptly and charged a fair price.

I was given a 2-hour window to expect the plumber the next day. He arrived near the beginning of the window. He checked the water pressure (130 psi) and the location of the pressure reducing valve. The cost to replace the valve was estimated around $600. I was wearing a mask due to COVID concerns and also because of the smoke in the air caused by wildfires. The plumber put on a mask when speaking near me. He finished the replacement in about one hour -- much faster than I expected. He answered my questions about what he was doing and what may have gone wrong with the pressure reducing valve. He seemed knowledgeable and friendly. The main concern I had at the start was that he was licensed, bonded, and insured. The license number is printed on the truck and web page. I would like proof or assurance of ""bonded and insured"" beyond say-so. I would also have liked more information on the replacement part such as construction, quality, model number, and any warranty. I don't have any hesitation hiring this plumber again.

We can't say enough GREAT things about D Martel. They have been our plumbers for two bathroom remodels as well as on a number of water heater/leak issues throughout the years in Serrano. We tried others like Bonney etc but they pale in comparison. Classic example was last week's service call, when Jason's years of experience really paid off for us. To resolve a large free standing tub installation issue, he thought outside the box in order to avoid having to Jack hammer our brand new marble tile floor! Solution was genius. Jason, you are a rock star and our hero!!!!!!!!

Called early in the morning re: my water heater's failing temperature and pressure valve. They were able to plug me in for an early afternoon visit. Dan arrived early, identified an excessive water pressure problem within my system and resolved the matter within 90 minutes.
