We've used D Martel a couple of times now and have had great service both times. Daughter clogged the toilet while we were out of town, they showed up to the house about an hour after we called, fixed the toilet and even gave our daughter instruction on how to turn off the water in the future. Highly recommend.

Our toilet was making a weird groaning noise when flushed. Called D Martel plumbing and Dan came out right at the beginning of the time window given. He let me know that he could fix our toilet, but wanted to know what our end game was with that particular bathroom. Great question! I want to redo it! He wondered why I would invest in fixing the worlds worst toilet when I could replace it with something much better. I'm all about that! He had a great new toilet in stock on his truck which while a much higher end toilet than what was there (the lowest end tract home toilet), matched all my other desires for a toilet (comfort height...elongated...wooden toilet seat). New toilet installed and old one hauled away in under an hour. Great conversation to boot. Will be using this company exclusively...and can't wait to work on the rest of the plumbing I want done!

Made an appointment and asked to be on call if any canceled. Got called the same day!! Trevor had current COVID measures and gave an fair and accurate estimate for two toilets and unclogging shower drains! Also helped trouble shoot and fix propane cook top odor. All work was done promptly with no issues. Would use again and recommend!

getting us in the next morning to Trevor who repaired a main water line leak digging through almost 2 ft of rocky, tree root choked, hard pan below our lawn. Leak detector company marked the 3x3 area with a leak and Trevor took care of the hard part!

I had a sudden failure of my propane gas powered water heater. Called D Martel Plumbers and was assigned to Trevor A. who called at my front door within minutes. He examined the boiler and tried to relight it with one or two substituted parts, but quickly realized it was not going to cooperate. He courteously explained it was not worth repairing since it was 19.5 yrs old and was showing corrosion at the top of the case and around the connections. Since we were expecting visitors in 2 days time, an urgent replacement was essential. We discussed replacements and settled for a 50 gallon tank to be installed the following day, at 2pm. Sure enough he turned up right on time and quickly removed the old tank. Then he very capably installed the new tank, dealing with several interconnection issues since this was a slightly larger tank than the previous model. He explained everything about the operation of this new water heater leaving me very impressed with the professionalism of the complete operation. Trevor A. is a person I would ask for again to help deal with any water heater emergency. 5 stars - well deserved!

I needed my 30 year old main line sewer clean-out cleared of roots. This was starting to happen every 18 months. I received an estimate from one of the heavy TV advertisers. Dan Martel estimated 20% less. He was able to immediately start the job. He did a fabulous job of digging a three foot hole to remove the old 2 way cast iron clean-out with a new PVC clean-out. He had the parts need on the truck and was able to have an assistant come out to help. Turns out the original old clean-out was held together with duct tape! Dan replaced the soil and made it look there never was a hole there. He did an excellent job of explaining what he was doing including providing a drawing before he started. He stuck to the original estimate. We have used D Martel several times before for other plumbing jobs and found they do a yeoman's job.
