I called Barry at Custom Plumbing today regarding a propane leak under my building. I had a sense of urgency to get the repair done since being without propane affects my business. He and his team were awesome! They came out in a timely manner and had us fixed up and running again in matter of hours. He and his team were courteous, professional and did what they said they would - when they said they would do it. I was was charged a fair price for fair work! Thank you Custom Plumbing!

We had another great service from Custom Plumbing. The location was 2 hours away from Austin. Roger called Saturday am when he was on his way. Roger was able to find our gate which is good since we are down a county road with no house in sight. He was able to fix the leak promptly. He was effective and professional. Great job Custom Plumbing!

Get a quote before they come out. Because we were in dire need they felt like they could charge whatever they wanted. $395 for LITERALLY 15 minutes of work. Absolutely ridiculous.

Friday, the City called that my water usage was through the ceiling and sent someone out to check, as w/ the rain hadn't noticed any large pools. The city inspector found the link and suggested I shutoff the water and have a plumber come out to check. Called a couple of services and received a bid, that was way high. Called Custom, which had installed the plumbing in 1998 and Shawn arrived and lo and behold the water line to sprinkler system connection had not been glued properly. Shawn replaced at a quite reasonable charge. Highly recommnend

First off, I am very handy and do all of my own home reno projects (aside from plumbing). When I gutted my bathroom and discovered that the shower valve needed to be recessed into the wall I searched the internet for a plumber (went through approx. 10-12) and some gave me a quote over the phone. Barry with Custom Plumbing however actually came to my home to look at the project WITHOUT charging me a service call fee which most of the others wanted to do whether or not you went with them....that alone in my book is just plain awesome customer service!!!!!!!!!

When it came time to do the work, they were on time and very efficiently got the job done. Barry himself even came to my home while his plumbers Patrick and Noah were here to check on the progress!

They cleaned up their mess and then some, even removing a pile of debris that I had created myself!!!!

I would highly recommend them to anyone I know!

Thanks again for the great service and reasonable price.....when it comes time for my master bathroom to be done they will DEFINITELY be getting a call!

Get a rate before they come out. I had a very simple water heater job and the labor was $395. The plumber was very nice, and very good, but his actual time spent on the job was about 60 minutes. There was also a bit of time just chatting, so totaling 75 minutes. When they wrote up the bill they charged me for two hours, because it had gone over one and their rate was $395, plus the cost of the part.
when I spoke to the boss, Barry, he said that $395 is their flat rate for changing out these parts because he has to keep overhead, a warehouse, gas for vans, etc. I just found it to be a little excessive and should have been explained.

The water line from the street to my house broke. Barry and his team came out, found the break, repaired it, and repacked it (sand all around) the way it should have been (but wasn't) when the house was built.

Great service from people who know what they're doing. I'd hire them again and I've recommended them to friends.

Disappointed with the quality of the work although it did eventually get done.They over-charged quite a bit without justification. We will not use them again.

There are certain necessary services where it is hard to know who to trust. I am here to tell you that this is one of the most respectful, honest, and honorable businesses you could possibly deal with. They completely back up their work and if anything goes wrong at all, they will take full responsibility for making it right. They genuinely care about making sure that you are happy and that your problem is solved. More than that, they will go out of their way and will do way more, without additional cost to you, than I can imagine anyone else doing! I would recommend this company to anyone. You cannot go wrong choosing them to do your work.

AVOID IF YOU ACTUALLY NEED ANYTHING DONE. Horrible service, clueless office staff. We had three different appointments scheduled that they weren't even able to come close to coming in a THREE hour window (showed up 5-6 hours later on one), rescheduled an appointment and didn't tell us, and then just blew off letting us know they sent their technician to an emergency while we wait around for them. Unless you have tons of free time to wait around hours/days for them to get around to you, go elsewhere.
