It was Christmas in July!!! CSR got the city to pick up the tab! This rental is in city heights so the plumbing pipe is very old around that area. The pipe broke. I received 2 estimates. One is from a plumbing friend that can do it for 10k assuming all goes as planned. My friend has his own plumbing company and has done multiple jobs for my husband rental also. Our other estimate was from a big plumbing company for 30 something K. Both people say it was hard or not possible for the city to pay for it and I would have to fight hard for it to happen. I was at the dinner table with my husband and sad thinking I had to take my rental profit out I've been collecting to pay for this. I made myself feel better by telling myself I will still come up on top after paying for this, since my rental was been a cash cow all these years and with the booming real estate market. But I was not ready to part from my money...

My brother refer me to CSR. He said CSR is a reputable company. Does big job for corporations and don't take short cut. He also said CSR is competitively price so they are not the cheapest guy in town. I gave CSR a ring. CSR said that if they got the city to resolve my problem I would pay 400 and if the city doesn't fix it I won't pay anything. I had nothing to lose. I was so relieved CSR was willing to fight the battle with me. CSR went to look at my plumbing issue and got the city to come out. In a couple days the city was out there digging pipes in the alley fixing my plumbing problem. Everything is resolved. Love CSR! Geat service because you only pay if your issue is resolved! Best $400 I ever spent!! Thank you CSR!

If you're looking for a great plumber look no further and call CSR! These guys were extremely knowledgeable, efficient, polite and respectful of my home and property. Alex and Alan came to my house the very next morning after speaking to Huyen. I had advised him this wasn't an emergency as the issue was in my guest bathroom, which is rarely used, but nevertheless he sent someone out as soon as he was able to.

Alex and Alan arrived on time and were quick to fix seal that was installed improperly on my toilet. Even though they had to take the whole toilet off the floor and replace the seal, they had everything done within 20 minutes! That's a sign of someone who really knows exactly what they're doing. They left my bathroom fixed and spotless.

I'll only call CSR for any of my future plumbing needs and I suggest anyone who wants a knowledgeable and honest plumber do the same! Thanks CSR!

We chose to try CSR due to the high volume of wonderful recent reviews that we saw on Yelp. Ray was prompt, courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. He explained plumbing details clearly and completely. CSR's pricing estimates were the exact amounts that Ray charged us. He inspected our drains and did a tricky main drain clean-out from the top of our roof. We had an unexpected emergency issue related to the clean out that did not occur until a week later but CSR immediately sent out Ray to help us again. Ray also replaced our broken and rusted faucet assembly for our hallway bathroom sink with a new Moen (excellent manufacturing warranty) faucet assembly that he already had in his truck. My husband is very fussy about quality workmanship since he is in the technical repair business himself, but he really likes Ray's work. CSR is very busy since they are such a good plumbing company but it is worth the wait to get top-notch plumbing service.

""Rumble, rumble, rumble?!?!?"" Uh-oh, that doesn't sound good :( ...what to do, what to do?! I tell myself, should I put in a claim with my home owners insurance? But there isn't any water damage. With that said, my insurance adjuster recommends me to withdraw my claim & call CSR PLUMBING and pay out-of-pocket (no increase in my premiums)... Best part, they're local (San Diego/ Chula Vista), perfect!

I call and I speak to Nguyen and he gives me possible scenarios on what it could be... b/c he knows what he's doing :) I schedule a visit and because the repair didn't require immediate attention, they come out a couple days, later.

Long story short... SUCCESS!!! Everything I had described was exactly what he serviced. He gave me a FLAT price with labor, parts, and tax included. No hidden fees. Nguyen and Ray replaced regulator & ball valve from the main water line coming into my home.

Exceptional service and immediate delivery. My appointment was scheduled for 11:00am, and they were here at 10:30am. My service was completed all within an hour!

BONUS, before I gave him a chance to leave, I mentioned that my downstairs toilet was leaking. He gave me a quick quote to replace & install for $20 more... But I turn and showed him, that I had the replacement tube, already (I was going to install it myself and since he was already here) ...and before I could even ask, without hesitation, he offered to replace at no extra charge, on the spot, right then and there. WOW!!!

Finally, I tried to offer a tip (something extra to go get lunch) for a job well done but he refused and said it was all a part of the service. Now, that itself deserves YELP, 5 stars!!!

I called CSR Plumbing again to fix a shower valve. Mike came out again, and fixed it in no time. Very reasonable and very good! It's such a nice feeling to have complete trust and confidence in someone who could really have their way with your pocketbook. They're replacing my toilets, and since I can't be there when they come, I'm totally comfortable with leaving the key for them with a blank, signed check.

We recently relocated to San Diego and had a real shock with our first water bill. After two weeks with just one person living in the house we registered Tier 4 on the city scale, and had a water bill of almost 300 dollars, about double what most people report for a two month billing cycle!

My wife had noticed hotspots on the floor of the kitchen and adjoining garage. Talking to family they told us we probably had a ""slab leak"" and it could cost big bucks to fix. But not fixing it was going to cost us big as well, so I started looking for a plumber.

The reviews on CSR were very good. I admit, I tried calling a couple of others first, but Ray answered my call right away and instead of having to wait two to three weeks, he was able to bring a crew within a couple of days. We setup the leak detection appointment and within a day I had to call and cancel. The moving van was going to arrive a day earlier than expected and I didn't want to have everyone colliding. Ray was great, he actually moved the appointment UP and extended his work day to do the detection the night before the van arrived.

They came in, verified the leak, hot water as expected due to the hot spots and estimated at a rate of 8 oz every 5 minutes.

He bid a price that seemed very fair and we setup the appointment for this morning. He brought a crew of two additional with him, reassessed the situation and proposed a better solution. The cost was the same, but I was happier with the new proposed layout of the pipe rerun.

They were here almost four hours. The did seal the places the new piping comes into the house so we won't have more unwanted guest entries. We will have to hire someone to fix the drywall in two rooms where the reruns impacted the walls, but I again agreed with Ray, paying $95 an hour for plumbers to do drywall didn't make sense although he was quite willing to do the repairs if we really wanted him to do them. Again a reasonable suggestion and shows he wasn't out to gouge us for the maximum dollar figure.

With a one year warranty on parts and labor, I'm very happy with the outcome.

Mike was very knowledgeable and friendly and took care of us during a stressful time. He repaired a leak in the wall that could have caused great damage to the property. He was calm and thorough. He located and stopped the leak immediately. He explained the problem and possible solutions clearly. I continue to use CSR Plumbing because I have trust with Mike and I definitely recommend CSR Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing in Encinitas (North County) or San Diego area. Since we have replaced a water heater and upgraded our faucets and shower fixtures. CSR plumbing is my first call for plumbing crisis or even for small jobs like leaky faucets and running toilets.

We are extremely happy that we selected CSR Plumbing when we discovered leaks that required replumbing our single story 2500 sq ft house. Our plumbing was in and below the cement slab on which it was built 50 years ago, and needed to be rerouted up through the attic. CSR was professional, efficient and reasonably priced. They fully dealt with every little quirk that is inevitably encountered in a house of this age that had also had some remodeling along the way that impacted the plumbing. Called CSR Plumbing for 3 services: Unclog and clean kitchen sink drain, fix leak between dishwasher discharge to air gap, resolve low pressure faucet issue in two bathroom sinks. They gave a courtesy call 30 mins before their scheduled arrival. Ray and Alan arrived ready to work. Both were very professional and courteous. Before performing any work, Ray took a look at the issues I needed to be addressed. Ray calmly and confidently explained what they could do for each case and showed me a pricing list to request approval to perform the work. After agreeing, CSR was able to fix most of my issues in less than an hour. Although some of the work appeared dirty, Ray and Alan ensured the worksites were left clean before they left. For all the issues, they only charged me for the kitchen sink clog. They offer a 30-day workmanship guarantee. I'm happy with CSR's service, professionalism, honesty, and expertise. I would go with CSR Plumbing again if the need arises.

I converted my leaking water heater to a tankless water heater. Overall a very positive experience. From beginning to end my 3 basic needs were met (professional, reasonable price & quality work). I would use them again & recommend them to a friend.
