I would give 6 stars if I could for Crown Plumbing. Walter and his team have come a handful of times to my house and have always done a phenominal job. I have some very complex plumbing in my 100+ year old house but it never phases them. Last night, I had a leak with partial flooding and Walter and his team came right out (at 8:00 at night) to fix. Great company and honest work!

I called Crown Plumbing at 6:30PM on a Sunday evening because ALL our toilets were slow to flush and we were expecting special visitors from Ireland the next day. Visions of overflowing toilets and showers filled my mind. The receptionist told me to call 311 to see if it was a county problem first. This upset me because I thought it meant that they did not want my business. To my surprise when I called, Sacramento County sent an inspector within two hours. He confirmed that the problem was on their end and another team would arrive to fix it. We were not to use ANY water during that time. County sewer sewer service removed a big root about 18' from our street outlet and our situation was fixed by 10PM. Thank you, Crown Plumbing for setting us on the right track--AND it did not cost us a dime! We'll be back for other in-house plumbing services in the future.

I contacted Crown Plumbing to fix a leaking 9 year old Price Pfister shower valve. They told me they would charge $250/hour. Later, they told me they could not find the valve replacement part locally. After several days of the shower being inoperable, they gave me an $1800 estimate to replace the entire Price Pfister shower fixture with a Delta fixture. They spent a total of 3 hours on my property over a several day period. I expected the actual bill to be under their estimate, but they charged me the full $1800, and when I asked for the work to be itemized, they told me that they charge a flat rate for this type of work. I believe they upsold me on the new fixture because I don't know anything about plumbing, and I'm a senior female. But not only did Crown Plumbing upsell me, but they charged way over the going local rate for a shower fixture replacement, and took 5 days to complete 3 hours of work. I have learned from this experience, but seniors and women should beware of this company.

Poor communication and no showed. They were suppose to show up for a job but didn't and when I called they made it seem like it was my fault.

I called Crown plumbing to fix my heater!
They sent a guy named Robert. He checked it and said they have to order the part then quoted me 515 with the service fee total, he literally said the 515 total and if you decide to fix it will take the service fee off of the 515 so I paid the service fee and i greed on it so he said they will call me back and we will order the part tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and no one calls, so i called and they were like "" oh we didn't order it, do you still want the service?"" and raised the price from 515 which we agreed upon to 595??
Literally waste of time and money
Update:
The owner or someone in the company saw this and called me saying that he reported our water heater to the city and Yelling
Good luck customers

We had to call a plumber because I was sure I could fix the sink myself. Not a good idea. Crown Plumbing responded immediately to my call. They even explained how much a service call would be, and asked if I wanted to continue. I did and they were over the next morning right on time. Turns out the last plumber didn't do his job correctly and it couldn't be repaired because the wrong parts were used. UGH! We were very happy with this business and will absolutely use them again.

Last month we got a new stove, and Crown came to install the gas line. The worker was so thorough, he saw I needed a new shutoff valve, so he installed that. Last week we got new countertops, and that company removed the sink and stove, but did not reconnect the water or gas. Crown came same day and made sure everything was connected properly so we weren't without the kitchen even one day. This week we installed a new vanity/sink in my Father's bathroom, but the sink was leaky. Derek came and tightened all the fittings, then he went a step further. He said one of the nuts was plastic, and a metal one would make for a stronger seal. He picked up the part and finished the job. He also firmly tightened down the new faucet. He was on time, clean, polite, and skilled. This is the third time I've used Crown Plumbing, and they will continue to be my #1 when I need a plumber.

I called because I thought I had leaks underneath the sinks, diagnostic is $97 which is fine. When the guy came out- Derek- he told me he needed to shut off the water but when he left he did not turn on the cold water only the hot one. Aren't you supposed to check that when you leave as part of your job? Also, there is a leak on top of the sink near the spout so why wasn't that checked? Derek also told me someone would reach out to me for a quote on changing my pipes and garbage disposal underneath the sink and nothing.
What I'm saying is I would appreciate if your techs did a thorough job and not just walk in and do the bare minimum. I work in customer service myself and it can be difficult but that's PART OF THE JOB!
While the diagnostic of $97 is reasonable I don't feel like the service I got was worth it. One star.

I didn't use them. I called to get a quote for putting in a gas line and I received a quote alright, for 8k. It is consistently coming in 4x higher than the going rate. NOT COOL!

Came out really quickly and fixed our sink. Gave us advice on other issues and will likely call them back again.
