I was at my moms house yesterday for the plumber to show up. She hired Crown Plumbing to move the valve in the kitchen from the sink area to behind the fridge. I was in charge ensuring the problem was solved.

Pros:
- The guy knew what he was doing
- He was quick, in and out 15 mins
- He was punctual. Very punctual!

Cons:
- They charged me $1,534 when the total was $337

The people on the phone aren't friendly... very direct and treat you as if you owe them something. There's dozens of 4-5 star plumbing services in the bay area. They should be very kind and thankful to customers, especially first time ones as we'd recommend them going forward.

Called to pay yesterday on the phone and no ""thanks for your service"" or anything like that, I said thanks, have a nice night. Just awkward. ""Name?"" ""Address?"" ""Card #?"" ""Bye""

Come to find out this AM, I was overcharged $1,100+ dollars! That's a lot. Luckily I had money in that particular account and didn't face any bank fees if I was overdrawn etc. I got refunded promptly but again, just awkward. Don't think it was the same lady from the night before.

I'd prob give a 2 if the plumber wasn't awesome, but he was.

Had a small leak in the supply line for the new hot water tank, called and Manny can the next day and replaced the line. Not a big job, but got the leak fixed and we are happy customers!

Good reviews online are justified. Kitchen sink disposal (very old) locked up with failed motor and needed replacement. Called 8:30 a.m., discussed with helpful customer agent & sent pix of old unit so they could bring correct new one. Pablo texted when on the way and arrived before1:00 p.m. Verified old disposal motor dead. Removed it (with extra effort due to rust) and replaced it with new one in less than 40 minutes. Very professional and skilled. Excellent job. Will ask for him if need something else in future. Price not cheap, but not unreasonable, for good service. Over-all, quite pleased.

We had them do a mid-5 figure $ emergency plumbing upgrade because our sewer lines were in danger of failing. What they said would be a week's job turned into a monthlong ordeal. They were uncommunicative and unreliable. We never knew when they were coming or, more often, when they weren't.

After finally completing the work, they neglected to turn our sprinkler system back on. Due to the heavy rains this winter we didn't notice for months until the warm weather returned. Now we are having to deal with dead or dying lawns and plants because of their carelessness. Avoid

Had Manny Chavez come over and he took care of my washer drain pipe and fixed the issue perfectly. He even stayed after to test the washer and ensure everything was good. I highly recommend Manny & Crown Plumbing to anyone who needs an efficient, reliable, affordable service.

We had an issue with a badly leaking tub/shower unit. The person Crown sent over was very professional and personable. However, he barely looked to see what the problem was before providing an estimate. He wiggled the pipe coming out to the tub spigot. He made no effort to look into the wall. He assumed that I was helpless and had no ability to judge/assess the issue myself. He then asserted that the whole unit (valve, spigot, handle and all) needed to be replaced and re-plumbed. And on top of that the estimate was ~ $2400. I had another plumber come in the next day and fixed and found the real issue for a couple of hundred dollars. Will not call them again. If you do decide to use this company, get a 2nd or even 3rd opinion.
