CRC Plumbing
Company Overview
From a young age, Charles embraced a career in plumbing. Charles entered the plumbing world through his grandfather's shop when he was only 15. Shortly after, he entered an apprenticeship to master the art of plumbing installation.
During the 80s, Charles focused on building apartment complexes and condos in the South Bay. After his grandfather's passing, he took on commercial projects, such as a performing arts center and educational facilities. This variety of plumbing work helped him become a versatile craftsman. As the years went by, the demand for his side work increased beyond what he could handle. It became clear that a change was necessary, and it was an obvious decision. The company I was with recognized this as well. That was the moment I chose to venture out on my own.
CRC Plumbing is a second-generation service and repair company. Our family takes great pride in our business and the service we provide. Charles R. Clinger completed a five-year program to become a certified journeyman. His training came from his grandfather's new construction plumbing company, along with service work in the aerospace sector.
While working in commercial buildings, employees frequently asked for his help with their home plumbing needs, unable to find a service they liked. As our reputation grew, we received more calls than we could manage, leading us to part ways with our former employer. Since that time, we have strived to be a reliable name in plumbing, committed to getting the job done correctly on the first attempt.

We called him for an emergency when a drain pipe cracked inside a wall. Rather than just cutting random holes to find the leak, he carefully explored & then fixed it quickly with minimum wall damage. They also cleaned up after themselves. Great Job!

I called Charles to install a pressure regulator on my outdoor BBQ island sink. He was able to come out the next day, and knocked it out quickly and everything works great. Highly recommended

I had multiple things I needed done at my place. Both my kitchen and toilet where getting clogged up. I called Charles and he was great. He was very knowledgable about his craft and even taught me a few things, that where great tips for solving quick plumbing problems around the house.
He knew exactly what he was doing and was in and out in a jiffy. If you need any plumbing work done this guy is a hero. Also he has pretty cool Youtube Channel under CRC Plumbing where he actually teaches about plumbing stuff. I'm the type of person who likes to know how everything works and his channel taught me so cool stuff. A+ Plumber & Teacher!

Charles is very responsive and very nice. Called me back with 2 hours. Set up an appointment. Showed up on time. Did a great job for a reasonable price. Called him back for more work because I trust him to give me a fair price and do a good job. Can't ask for anything more!

Had both toilets clogged up and could not clear with an at-home snake. Called Charles and he was there within the hour. He stayed until the toilets flushed - honest, quick and a pleasure to work with.

Charles has done lots of great work for us over the past few years: everything from replacing a water heater to an urgent repair on a leaking faucet. He's professional, experienced, and will give you his honest assessment of your options. CRC also helps the community by supporting Wildwood Elementary. I highly recommend CRC to anyone in Thousand Oaks and the Conejo Valley area.

On Thursday 11/13, I noticed a leak from the water heater which created a drip outside the house. I called Charles, to my surprise he picked up at 1015p. He told me to turn off the water heater which would be fine & that he would come out first thing in the morning after his first stop. Several minutes later Charles called back explaining to turn off the water pump if our system had one. He was clear & direct in his details. He told me if I was uncertain what to do that I should visit his website as they have several You Tube videos to watch. It's very informative.
Charles of CRC Plumbing is trustworthy & reliable. He told me Thursday night there would be a service charge of $87 to just drive out. That's normal. Actually, it was less than anticipated. Also, I found out that he can speak some Chinese, as well as his wife who is fluent.
Friday comes, Charles is here by 730a. I was actually his second stop, but he quickly called to let me know he was on his way. This was a pleasant surprise as he told me he would be here between 8a-9a. He personally came to the house, spent an hour or so here to analyze & fix the problem. He was very attentive, answered all my questions, explained in detail (Plumbing for Dummies) what the problem was, and took care of business. I was impressed. More so, I was grateful.
Charles is someone to trust. I realize this is a business, but his integrity put me at ease. At the end of the day, he's a family man from Thousand Oaks serving the community. I will go back to him for future & unforeseeable problems.

I have used Charles twice in the last two weeks. He repaired my kitchen sink (on a Sunday) and replaced parts, upgrading the toilets in a rental property. He is timely, courteous and reasonably priced. Will use him again and again.

Just had to add another note - because we had another plumbing problem to be fixed. Last spring we were told we needed to clear an outside drain (we had to buy a sump pump to remove water making a 'pond' on our lawn). We tried a plumber who used a fat drill to clear some tree roots, but we were told he'd have to dig up the whole yard - no thanks.
So....I thought I'd run this by Charles. If he also needed to tear up the yard we'd say no. But he had another idea ....after an hour or so he had dug out all the tree roots with his special thin drill contraption.
Thank you once again, Charles!!

Charles was recommended by a mutual friend, and I have been using him for several years. He is quite ""old school"" in that he gets to the heart of the matter, fixes it and does not try any upselling or anything like it. I have used him to repair broken pipes, replace faucets, repair toilets and install a new water heater. And also to repair a hot water circulation pump that I broke. His prices are reasonable and he is trustworthy and prompt. He's a great guy in addition to all of that.
