CRC Plumbing
Company Overview
Plumbing has been Charles's lifelong passion. Charles entered the plumbing world through his grandfather's shop when he was only 15. Shortly after, he entered an apprenticeship to master the art of plumbing installation.
During the 80s, Charles focused on building apartment complexes and condos in the South Bay. After his grandfather's passing, he took on commercial projects, such as a performing arts center and educational facilities. This variety of plumbing work helped him become a versatile craftsman. Over time, his side jobs grew faster than his primary work could manage. It was evident that something had to change, and the choice was clear. The company I was with recognized this as well. That’s when I took the leap to establish my own plumbing business.
CRC Plumbing is a second-generation service and repair company. We take pride in our work and our reputation. To become a true journeyman, Charles R. Clinger completed an extensive five-year program. He learned the trade through his grandfather's plumbing business and also worked in aerospace service.
While working in commercial buildings, employees frequently asked for his help with their home plumbing needs, unable to find a service they liked. With the rising number of calls, we had to leave the company we were with to focus on our growing business. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to becoming a household name you can trust for quality plumbing work done right the first time.

Charles has done lots of great work for us over the past few years: everything from replacing a water heater to an urgent repair on a leaking faucet. He's professional, experienced, and will give you his honest assessment of your options. CRC also helps the community by supporting Wildwood Elementary. I highly recommend CRC to anyone in Thousand Oaks and the Conejo Valley area.

On Thursday 11/13, I noticed a leak from the water heater which created a drip outside the house. I called Charles, to my surprise he picked up at 1015p. He told me to turn off the water heater which would be fine & that he would come out first thing in the morning after his first stop. Several minutes later Charles called back explaining to turn off the water pump if our system had one. He was clear & direct in his details. He told me if I was uncertain what to do that I should visit his website as they have several You Tube videos to watch. It's very informative.
Charles of CRC Plumbing is trustworthy & reliable. He told me Thursday night there would be a service charge of $87 to just drive out. That's normal. Actually, it was less than anticipated. Also, I found out that he can speak some Chinese, as well as his wife who is fluent.
Friday comes, Charles is here by 730a. I was actually his second stop, but he quickly called to let me know he was on his way. This was a pleasant surprise as he told me he would be here between 8a-9a. He personally came to the house, spent an hour or so here to analyze & fix the problem. He was very attentive, answered all my questions, explained in detail (Plumbing for Dummies) what the problem was, and took care of business. I was impressed. More so, I was grateful.
Charles is someone to trust. I realize this is a business, but his integrity put me at ease. At the end of the day, he's a family man from Thousand Oaks serving the community. I will go back to him for future & unforeseeable problems.

I have used Charles twice in the last two weeks. He repaired my kitchen sink (on a Sunday) and replaced parts, upgrading the toilets in a rental property. He is timely, courteous and reasonably priced. Will use him again and again.

Just had to add another note - because we had another plumbing problem to be fixed. Last spring we were told we needed to clear an outside drain (we had to buy a sump pump to remove water making a 'pond' on our lawn). We tried a plumber who used a fat drill to clear some tree roots, but we were told he'd have to dig up the whole yard - no thanks.
So....I thought I'd run this by Charles. If he also needed to tear up the yard we'd say no. But he had another idea ....after an hour or so he had dug out all the tree roots with his special thin drill contraption.
Thank you once again, Charles!!

Charles was recommended by a mutual friend, and I have been using him for several years. He is quite ""old school"" in that he gets to the heart of the matter, fixes it and does not try any upselling or anything like it. I have used him to repair broken pipes, replace faucets, repair toilets and install a new water heater. And also to repair a hot water circulation pump that I broke. His prices are reasonable and he is trustworthy and prompt. He's a great guy in addition to all of that.

Charles came to my office fixed a leak in the sink. He had to use multiple new parts, luckily he had the parts in stock. The sink was not leaking any more.
He took the time to evaluate the faucet and found that the faucet had poor construction and was susceptible to leaks when the water pressure went up. Did not make much sense at the time, especially since every thing was finally dry. Week few days later I noticed some moisture under the faucet. I called Charles and he recommended a brand of faucet. No sales, just go buy one online or in the store. Once I had the faucet he returned and installed it. Great job TX

Who sends a Thank You card?...Charles at CRC. Who knows what their doing?... Charles at CRC. Who shows up at the time they say their going to be there?...Charles CRC. Our main sewer line was giving us problems-again. I had remembered seeing CRC's work van in our neighborhood. We didn't have a plumber we were attached to, so we decided to give this guy a try. We had previously had another plumber out twice to clear said line within an 8 month period. CRC came in, ran a camera, entered though a different clean-out (to get to the problem better, with a larger bit). Found the problem and addressed it. Instead of trying to charge me for a new sewer line, Charles took care of the problem and gave me different options if its to occur again. Instead of charging me big bucks for a sewer line that we did not need. Overall nice guy, good demeanor-KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING! Super professional and very reasonable, we will not hesitate to give Charles at CRC a call should (or I should say when) the need arises again.

Called CRC on a Sat and after clearing bathroom drain paid 175.00.
2 hours after leaving, drain backs up into shower. Call CRC back,"" that will be 200.00 and your main sewer line is bad"". Called Conejo Valley Plumbing. They came out and video scoped, then cleared drain (in 15 min) with a bigger-proper router ($200.00). I was told ""Your main is fine"" The real issue is CRC didn't come with a video scope, guessed that a smaller bit-router would do the job an d failed. The when requested to rectify, I get the plumber double-talk ""Can't help you, your main is bad"". Not so. Pass on this one.

We had a leak at a garden faucet inside the wall.CRC was very experienced with all the improvements and components of the water supply.
CRC was on time on site, brought all the tools and had all main parts and equipment available. We got a invoice with work report.
It is worth paying a little extra for a perfect job.
Thank you Charles!

We have used CRC plumbing many times over the years for our home and our rental house, and every time Charles has been knowledgeable, professional, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him.
