James was great to work with - responsive, professional, accommodating. I wasn't getting any hot water in my shower. Unlike other plumbers who over complicated the work and gave high quotes, James offered a simple solution as a starting point and at a very reasonable price. His simple solution did the trick and no additional work needed to be done. Which saved me a lot of time, potential bathroom destruction, and money! Honest and easy going - highly recommend!

Met James at Home Depot in the plumbing isle. I had no clue what I was looking for so he approached me and asked what the problem was. After a few minutes of conversation he offered to stop by and take a look at my problem. We scheduled time for the next morning and not only did he fix that problem, but helped me resolve my water heater problem with the manufacturer and within an hour he was installing my brand new water heater. It was my lucky day meeting him at Home Depot and I will call James for all of my plumbing needs in the future. He is very honest and fair and we all know that is hard to find when looking for a plumber. I have already recommended him to all of my friends and coworkers.

We have a new construction and the general installed a tankless water heater that was not made for a 4 bedroom home. We couldn't figure out what is happening and why the water flow was so so low. What a mess!!! James came, and Boom!!, he figured out that someone didnt do their job!!! We replaced and got a bigger better tankless water heater.. works like magic!!! Our water heater started leaking in our garage suddenly. We didn't have a regular plumber to go too, after doing some research came across James, let me just say he has been GREAT!!! Not only does he respond quickly, he is friendly and knowledgeable. He explains things clearly to us, gives options on a resolution and his pricing is fair. James was such a great plumber! He did multiple projects for us. He rushed out right away when I needed a leaking water heater to be removed from the hall closet to prevent further water damage. He installed an indoor tankless water heater for us. He replaced a main sewer drain line in front of the house. He also found a leaking gas line leak in a detached structure. He's very personable and awesome to work with!!!

DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! I had a simple job to fix a leaking bathroom sink drain. He charged me what I thought was a bit more than normal but he seemed very pleasant on the phone and seemed like a nice honest guy. He came to fix the leak and I paid him and he left. The next day the sink started to leak again and I called him back to come fix it. He said he would come back and said I just had to pay for the extra parts to finish the job since. I agreed and he told us he would be there between 8-10 am and he never arrived. We tried to call and he didnt pickup his phone. He finally got back to us and said his phone died and he scheduled to come the next day. He once again didnt show up and now will not answer his phone nor text messages. I have to hire another plumber and pay another time!!

Would give 2.5 if I could. 4 stars for knowledge + 1 for skill. -1 for no word back on coming to finish the job, -1.5 for stating 30 day warranty but no follow up (so what's the purpose of a 30 day warranty?).

At first I thought James had restored my faith in plumbers. He's very knowledgeable and doesn't mind sharing any bit of his knowledge. He'll take a look at a lot of stuff for you and tell you how it could be fixed with no charge at all. I was actually very excited to refer him to many people in my area, unfortunately I do not think this is the best idea anymore. Yes, he's great at what he does, but he hasn't proven dependable enough for me to refer out.

I had a simple toilet valve replacement and pump replacement which he quoted a bit high compared to other quotes I received but due to previous bad plumber experience, I decided to go with James. Hoping that a higher cost would result in a better professional coming out into my home. He showed up in a timely manner and got to work, but unfortunately for the both of us, the part he had picked up from the store was faulty and was leaking. He had informed me that he had no time to go back to the store then come back fix it since he had to go to another site but would come back another day. It's currently 2+ weeks later and still no contact regarding on coming back to fix his unfinished job. I was left back at step one and less change in my pocket because I had already paid him for the job. Seems like it's back to nonstop youtube videos and self fixing yet again.

Granted that this may be a one time case scenario for James but the lack of follow up and response does not help.

James is very knowledgeable and thoroughly explains his work. He is fair and honest and doesn't try to over sell you on unnecessary work. He came out from 60 miles away to do a free estimate. After finding out all we needed was a simple little part that needed ordered online, and that it was something my husband could fix, he didn't want to charge for a service call. I would not have that. He traveled from so far away and took 45 min to take apart our hot water heater. I gladly paid him his very reasonable service fee for his time. He will definitely be the first and only plumber I ever call!
