James installed a tankless water heater from Navien for us. He was knowledgeable and came in below any other estimates we've had.

All the communication happened over the phone, and with a couple of photos, he was able to give a quote and figure out what he needs to get the job done.

On the day of the installation, he was friendly, efficient and professional and installed the heater and walked us through everything without any issue.

If that was where it ended, I'd be referring him to all my friends.

Unfortunately, getting a hold of him after the job was done has proven nigh impossible.

I needed to get a simple invoice from him to submit for a rebate, and that took about 2 months and a multitude of excuses.

Last month, one of the parts on the heater started leaking. We've yet to receive any confirmation that he has ordered the replacement part or when he can come to replace it, as he is dodging both my wife's and my calls/texts.

I can still recommend him as far as the upfront paid work goes, but expect him to vanish into thin air afterwards.

James has helped me out with various plumbing issues in my condo over the past few years now. From a couple of toilet installations to a blocked sink.

I can't recommend him enough. He knows his stuff, he shows up (sometimes at pretty crazy hours if he has to) and - most importantly - he's trustworthy. Some other plumbing professional would take advantage of my shambolic lack of any kind of knowledge of plumbing and hit me with huge invoices and massive call out charges. Not James. If he can fix it by talking it through with you over the phone, he'll do that.

It's comforting to know that if I'm ever in a plumbing pinch, I just need to drop James a text and trust him to take care of it. Thanks James!

We called James to snake a stopped up kitchen sink. This was right at the start of the coronavirus pandemic so we were worried about having a stranger in the house, but James wore a mask the whole time, kept plenty of distance, and was very professional. After clearing the pipes once he had to come back a second time a few days later after it stopped up again. He didn't charge us for the return visit and this time it's been flowing free for over a week. He was friendly, easy to deal with, and affordable. Would use him again.

James is excellent! Worked with him on two occasions, and he was nothing but professional the entire time. Recently the hot water in my shower didn't work. The building manager brought plumbers on several occasions, and they couldn't figure out what the problem was. James came once and diagnosed the problem within minutes. He came by a few days later and fixed the hot water. I'll certainly be calling James from now on for any household repairs.
