Recommended Customer Reviews

I agree with all the other reviews. Waited forever for them to show up. All he did was misdiagnose the problem. When I followed up with the home warranty, they were unreachable and then said they never come out! I have my receipt but asked for a new provider.. new provider awesome and nice. Refuse this company

0 stars. Absolutely the worst. Do not let them do your warranty diagnosis let alone the repair. Call the warranty company and insist on a different plumbing company.

I have never written a review before but feel compelled to do so now. If your home warranty company assigns County Plumbing refuse to have them perform the service. I waited ONE MONTH for an appointment with this company. The technician ""Corey"" came out to fix my clogged kitchen sink and leaking guest bathroom sink. Corey was rude, harassing and insulting. He literally looked at my clogged kitchen sink while standing in my kitchen and said I needed to have it Hydro Jetted. He did not look at the plumbing below. He did the same with my LEAKING guest bathroom sink. He told me he did not have the tools and would need to come back to fix both sinks. I asked him to consider snaking the kitchen sink and he refused and kept repeating himself regarding the hydro jet ""solution"". I asked him how this was going to fix my LEAKING guest bathroom sink and he kept repeating himself and walked away to his truck. I was his last appointment of the day and he arrived with his uniform on in pristine condition. Not a wrinkle or stain or spot on his uniform or shoes. I doubt he did any plumbing work all day. I filed a formal complaint with my home warranty company, First American, and am still waiting for a solution.

Horrible people's dont waste your time. All the reviews are exactly how these people are. If you don't like your job don't do it. When you call a plumber and they give you an appointment 2 weeks out. Super lame don't come to the Bay area your business will never make it.

I haven't even managed to get them to come out yet. They keep calling to tell me someone will call later that day to make an appointment, only to find they don't. Then they call at the last minute to ask if someone can come out the following day with no allowance for the fact that I work full time too. Obviously I could not accept, so now we go days without contact again.

AWFUL! I would give them Zero Stars like many of the other commenters have said. My home warranty set me up with this company and they never returned phone calls, couldn't figure out scheduling, terrible customer service. When they finally did offer an appointment to fix a backed up pipe that was effecting my entire house, it was a whole week out and set for the middle of the day, with absolutely no allowance of a courtesy call. I was demanded to be home for the full four hours waiting for them to arrive... Uhh I have to work like most people and can't take a four hour lunch! Needless to say, I canceled my appointment with them and went to Bonney plumbing. They came out the same day!

Just another ""Home Warranty assigned and never call back"" review. Avoid this company, call your Home Warranty and ask to re-assign it to any other contractor.

Like many of the other reviewers, I would give them 0 stars if thats an option. I have dealt with this company 3 times through my home warranty.
The first time the technician was extremely rude but at least addressed our issue.
The second time our water heater was broken, they assessed and it said it needed to be replaced and once the authorization came through they would do it. The warranty quoted me thousands of dollars that I would have to pay out of pocket and then when I said they could go ahead and do it, apparently County Plumbing, unbeknownst to me, said they didn't have the ability to do it and so the warranty had a different plumber come out, restart the whole process. The next company was actually competent AND said a lot of what county quoted was not necessary so my cost was much less (10x less actually). The whole process left me with brown hot water for MONTHS
The third time is the most egregious - they were dispatched to do a leak detection on my house, expedited. Then they called me to schedule and said - actually - we talked to the warranty company and its a pool issue they'll redispatch it. I talked to the pool company a week later after the dispatch and they said no - its not a pool issue. We go back to the warranty and they refuse to pursue this further because county plumbing flat out LIED and said they came to our house and inspected it for a leak when they never did.

Fidelity contracted County Plumbing for a shower connection repair. I spent three weeks attempting to have them schedule the job. Several times the scheduling department was going to call me back. Nothing. Finally I asked Fidelity to reassign the contract, which they did.

Another ZERO star. This is the most terrible company I dealt with in the Bay Area for the last 10 years. They are unresponsive, irresponsible and they don't care about the customer at all. It's almost a SCAM!
Our home warranty assigned this company to our case where the water pressure regulator was broken and all the appliances are exposed to 130 psi pressure. Water heater pressure relief valve triggered many times. Here are the events
Day 1
opened the ticket at home warranty (HW), said that pressure regulator is broken, city water already checked and said the pressure regulator needs to be replaced.
Day 2
County Plumbing called to schedule an appointment for Day 3.
Day 3
Technician came on time, didn't touch the regulator, didn't measure the pressure. Just took the photo of the regulator, received $65 from me, said ""I need authorization from HW, they'll probably give the auth tonight then we'll call you to schedule a fix day"" I was expecting someone to arrive with a pressure regulator and replace it right away but so be it. It can wait a couple of more days.
Day 8
Since I didn't receive any call, I called HW to check the auth process. HW said ""plumber does not need to get auth from us for this case as the parts are under their limit. They haven't called us anyhow"". HW called County Plumbing while I was on hold, left a message as she was unable to reach a real person. HW said they'll call me once they hear from County Plumbing
Later in the day, HW called me back, said that County Plumbing said they need to dig the dirt around the pipes so that their tools can operate around the valve, it's something that HW doesn't cover thus we need to pay extra $140 for digging. Although we found the price too high for a few minutes of work, we agreed to have this thing done ASAP. HW told us that County Plumbing will call us to schedule a day.
Day 10
Since no one called us, we called County Plumbing to ask what's going on. They told us that they are still waiting for the parts ($30 regulator which you can find in any hardware store!!!). They'd call us on Day 13 the latest.
Day 15
As usual no one called from County Plumbing so I called them. After waiting ~15 minutes on hold, I was transferred to... wait for it... an answering machine!! I called Home Warranty, I said ""This Company never keeps their promises, already caused too much delay, I can't reach them, I don't want to deal with them anymore, can you please call them and tell them to schedule a real service day for us ASAP"". HW talked to County Plumbing while I was on hold, and told me ""They'll call you in 20 minutes to schedule a day"".
20 minutes later: no one called (surprised? no)
60 minutes later Ynn called me and said ""we can schedule you for the day 22"" (!?!?!) I told him that his company already caused so long unnecessary delays, keeping the other parties on hold multiple times for days for no reason thus he needs to make an exception and put us in an earlier day as our appliances are exposed to too much water pressure. He said he can't do that and they are answering 500 service requests every day, thus he can't know the specifics of each case. I told him ""well I'm telling the specifics of our case at the moment"" and asked to talk to his manager, he said that he's the operations manager. I said ""then you should listen to specifics of the this case more closely as I'm telling you the problems about the operations of your company"". He said ""I already spend 10 minutes in this call, I have many other cases to arrange, if you reject the appointment, then I need to call HW and let them know that you don't want the service. I said ""do whatever you want"".
I talked to HW, asked them to transfer our case to another provider and never assign this company to our home again.
