Return customer for two service calls in the last couple of months - water heater replacement and a leaky garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. Water heater was only 2 years old when it started leaking from underneath onto the wood base. Called County and they had me call the water heater manufacturer AO Smith for a return code. After a few questions, AO determined it was a faulty tank and provided credit towards a new one. Provided the code to County so they could pick up a new heater before my appointment and get the credit when they return the bad one. County showed up on time - it was a supervisor and his trainee Michael - and had the heater replaced in under 2 hours, better than my 3 hr expectation. A couple weeks ago, I noticed my garbage disposal was leaking every time the sink was running, dirty water and all. This was going on for a few day's unnoticed. I was able to get an appointment few days later; since the drip wasn't strong, a bucket was working just fine in the interim. Disposal is only 4 years old so didn't expect a replacement, luckily just needed a quick tightening and good as new with no water damage to my cabinets. Thankful again to County!

Garbage company. It would seem their business model is contract with home warranty companies because they would never get business otherwise. So they feel like they have you over a barrel. 1st call was around 10:30 am on Tuesday, call went to voicemail. Left a message. 2nd at 11, went to voice mail. Check my messages at 2:30 PM, no message, so I call them. This time immediate answer, we have your service request, our schedulers will call you. They call, no message. So I call again, ""scheduler will call you tomorrow"" Check phone at 2, no calls. Call them. Now the same woman I talked to yesterday, all the sudden can schedule me. Hmm. Week from tomorrow. My hot water heater is broken, I have already been without for 5 days. But fine, whatever. Then she starts into this monologue about not having pets in the area. I tried to advise her that she didn't need to keep going, as I don't have pets. I was annoyed that she wasn't listening, but I didn't raise my voice or swear, and she says, ""Did you shush me? I'm cancelling your service request."" Fine by me, if your plumbers are like you, I don't want them. I'd rather pay out of pocket than use them.

Our water heater went out and County Plumbing was recommended by our home warranty. We had to wait 4 days for someone to come look at our water heater due to schedule conflicts. While the plumber was late to our appointment, about 30 minutes later, he told us that we needed a new burner unit and that they would call the home warranty and we should get a call the next day. We did get a call from our warranty company and we were told that our part would be in around June 1st and that County Plumbing would contact us to schedule an appointment. So I called County Plumbing to get some information about possible options that would not result in my household being out of hot water for 3+ weeks. Long story short, I was able to call the warranty and have them approve the replacement of our water heater. County Plumbing was able to fit us in for next day service and we now have a beautiful, new, WORKING water heater!!

As for some of the other reviews, we did not have issues with communication, and the plumber that came to our house was nothing but respectful and knowledgeable. I would say the main issue (that was quickly resolved) was the extent of our warranty coverage. My suggestion to you is if this company is recommended by your home warranty, give them an honest chance to prove these reviews wrong.

My Hot Water Heater was not functioning correctly, so I contacted my home warranty and they referred me to 1 company who couldn't accommodate my schedule so I called back to request another. I was given the referral of County Plumbing. I called on a Monday, and was scheduled for service on Tuesday.
My techs name was Abraham. He came out, did his inspection of my 3 items (toilet, sink, hot water tank). Shortly after he advised me he sent in my claim to have my tank replaced and if approved he'd be back the same day to install. My home warranty company contacted me approximately an hour or two later to say I was approved and County would be calling to schedule my installation. Sure enough, they called and I was set up for the very next day. Although my time was delayed by an hour, the company contacted me to inform me so I didn't have to leave work earlier than expected. My tech Abraham came first to get things going then an assistant and General Manager came shortly after. The entire job was done efficiently, the workers were pleasant and funny. Kept me informed and cleaned up after themselves. The assistant in training (failed to get his name and the Gen MGR), also installed me a new two-button flush toilet.
I have to admit that I almost cancelled them to request another referral due to the reviews, but then thought I'd give them a chance because at least they were willing to service me according to my next day request. I'm glad I did!
I am so happy to have had my 1991 water tank and toilet replaced. All in all I believe they did a great job. I cannot say how efficient the tank is yet because it takes 2hrs to properly warm up, but I'm giving 5 stars from experience from start to finish!

Worst skills ever!! Sewer backup problem, my home warranty dispatched this company. Claimed my pipe was installed wrong and was clamped down so unable to get snake to flow through. Estimated 7$k to fix, including pulling out concrete and digging up pipes to replace. These guys did manage to snake, from outside of my house into my toilet, and break the toilet and scratch the baseboards of my new home. I demanded home warranty place send a new company over the next day; new company fixed the issue in 20 minute and even cleaned up the mess, which these guys dint bother to in either my toilet area they broke and the sewage issue they attempted to fix.

Also of note- the 7$ estimate was provided to my home warrranty company. When I learned the work wasn't covered, I asked for a bid to replace. They claim they couldn't give me a bid yet and needed till end of the day.... but they had already provided it to the warranty company. Poor communication.

Edit: as a result of this review, I got a letter in the mail from them claiming they refuse to fix the mess they made. Sent me a check instead to make me fix it myself. AFTER I've waited a week for their claim of already ordering my replacement toilet. R u serious? I called them yesterday to ask status and they told me they ordered it and were waiting to come in. They upright LIED to me. Unethical and incompetent.

This company was sent by home approvement. An appointment was scheduled a week advance, and on the day of the appointment this company call to cancel and no reason was given. This is bad business and do not hire them. I will not give any star, but I can not post unless I rate. Be warned.

I have never met another company so unprofessional. Two of them shows up, both wearing disgusting boots into my house. I explained the problem with my toilet, and he reported something else to my home warranty company. I had to call my company and tell them to never send this company out again and to send someone else. I didn't catch his name but he was cocky and barely spent any time trying to figure out what's wrong even though I told them exactly what was wrong.

This company may be great at their job, however, they are horrible at communication. Why would someone hire a company who does not communicate with their paying customer? If you ever hear the words, ""...I will call and get authorization..."" do not for a minute believe them. I had a service appointment. A 5 second visit (perhaps a bit more, lol) and 2 days later I have heard nothing. Was expecting someone to be here today and, yep, you guessed it. Nothing. No phone call. No update. N A D A!!

Terrible customer service. Have been calling for days to set up an appointment for a serious leak. They keep saying they'll call back and never do. Now on day 2 of playing this game. Ended up going with another service provider. Steer clear.

I had an appointment between 12 & 5. My wife took off work that day just so we can accommodate their schedule.
It was about 4:00 pm when I called County Plumbing to ask when they were coming. They said they came at 1:20 pm, no one answered. They left their business card on the door on the entry that had an angel on the doorstep.
Called my wife to validate, she was home all that time, our Nest doorbell never alerted us of any person by our door and no business card on our door.
She walked over to our neighbors house and it was there, they were in the wrong house.
Called County plumbing again to explain what they went to the wrong house, and to ask their service guy to come back as the wife took the day off for this. They said they had to reschedule and they will call us back. The next day, no calls were ever made.
They are inconsiderate and unreliable. Dont use them.
