Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was started by Ken and Helen Cota at one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. Starting with just two trucks, they delivered kerosene, referred to as ""range oil"" in those times. At that time, the cost for customers was eight cents per gallon. Their dedication and effort led to an expansion in 1953, when they opened an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, over 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota leads the heating industry. As we adapt to market trends and embrace new technologies, we remain grounded in our origins and core values.
