On May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was established by Ken and Helen Cota, who ran the business from one of the earliest 24-hour gas stations in Vermont. With a pair of trucks, they began delivering kerosene, which was commonly called ""range oil"" at the time. At that time, the cost for customers was eight cents per gallon. Through hard work and determination, they expanded the business in 1953, adding an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Today, after more than 75 years and three generations, Cota & Cota stands at the forefront of the heating sector. As we stay current with market developments and innovative technology, we hold onto our foundational beliefs and history.
