On May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was established by Ken and Helen Cota, who ran the business from one of the earliest 24-hour gas stations in Vermont. They initially used two trucks to deliver kerosene, known back then as ""range oil."" Customers paid eight cents per gallon. Thanks to their perseverance, they grew the business in 1953 by establishing an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, with over 75 years of experience and three generations of family involvement, Cota & Cota is a leader in the heating industry. As we adapt to market trends and embrace innovative technology, we remain grounded in our origins and the principles that founded our company.
