Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was started by Ken and Helen Cota at one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. Starting with just two trucks, they delivered kerosene, referred to as ""range oil"" in those times. Customers paid eight cents per gallon. Through hard work and determination, they expanded the business in 1953, adding an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, over 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota leads the heating industry. As we adapt to market trends and embrace innovative technology, we remain grounded in our origins and the principles that founded our company. We are proud of our Vermont roots and the hard work we've invested to gain your confidence.
