When Cota & Cota began on May 1, 1941, Ken and Helen Cota operated the business from one of Vermont's first 24-hour gas stations. Initially, they had two trucks for delivering kerosene, which was referred to as ""range oil"" at the time. At that time, the cost for customers was eight cents per gallon. Through hard work and determination, they expanded the business in 1953, adding an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, with over 75 years of experience and three generations of family involvement, Cota & Cota is a leader in the heating industry. As we adapt to market trends and embrace new technologies, we remain grounded in our origins and the principles that founded our company.
