Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was run by Ken and Helen Cota from one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. Initially, they had two trucks for delivering kerosene, which was referred to as ""range oil"" at the time. Back then, customers paid eight cents for each gallon. Their dedication and effort led to an expansion in 1953, when they opened an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, after more than 75 years and three generations, Cota & Cota leads the heating industry. As we stay current with market developments and innovative technology, we will never forget our beginnings or the core beliefs that shaped our company.
