Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was managed by Ken and Helen Cota from one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. Starting with two trucks, they delivered kerosene, referred to as ""range oil"" in those times. Customers paid eight cents per gallon. Through hard work and determination, they expanded the business in 1953, adding an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Today, after more than 75 years and three generations, Cota & Cota stands at the forefront of the heating sector. While we keep pace with industry trends and cutting-edge technology, we never forget our beginnings and the principles that guide us.
