Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was managed by Ken and Helen Cota from one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. With just two trucks, they provided kerosene, which was called ""range oil"" at the time. Customers paid eight cents per gallon. Through hard work and determination, they expanded the business in 1953, adding an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Now, over 75 years and three generations later, Cota & Cota leads the heating industry. As we stay current with market developments and advanced technology, we hold onto our roots and the values that shaped our company.
