Founded on May 1, 1941, Cota & Cota was started by Ken and Helen Cota at one of Vermont's pioneering 24-hour gas stations. Starting with two trucks, they delivered kerosene, which was called ""range oil"" in those times. Customers were charged eight cents per gallon. Through dedication and effort, they thrived, and in 1953, they opened an office at 4 Green St. in Bellows Falls, VT. Today, with more than 75 years and three generations behind us, Cota & Cota stands at the forefront of the heating sector. As we stay current with market developments and cutting-edge technology, we hold onto our roots and the values that shaped our company.
