Our drain line backed up somewhere between our clothes washer and garbage disposal, making it impossible for us to use our sink, dishwasher, clothes washer, etc. We called Cornel's Plumbing to diagnose and repair the problem.

They were very quick to respond. They ran a snake with a camera 100 ft from our kitchen sink to the main. The problem was the ABS pipe hadn't been suspended properly 40 years ago and was now shaped more like a roller coaster. Grease buildup had completely blocked the pipes.

The snake cleared the drain enough to use the sinks, but the entire drain line needed replacement. Cornel's replaced everything and suspended the drain line every four feet instead of twenty feet.

They showed us photos of their work and we could see it was a high quality installation.

The price was quite reasonable for such a major repair. I'd call them for any future plumbing needs.

I've used Cornell's plumbing a few times in the past and they have always gotten the job done, but today my water heater failed, and I was desperate. They sent a plumber named Vinny out to help me and he got a new water heater in my house within hours of my call. They did a really good job, and the new water heater is better than the old one by far. All in all, fantastic work!

Originally called for an emergency, we were advised to make a call for a preventative repair that would save us thousands in the long run!! Invasive roots are no joke... and after talking to our neighbor while the service was being conducted, we found out not all companies are the the same!! Landon from Cornel's Plumbing (and we later found out -Heating and Air Conditioning) not only did a spectacular job with dealing with our difficult pipe setup (multidirectional), but made some excellent decisions (like calling in a work buddy -Tony) to complete a difficult job properly. Landon and Tony worked in scorching heat and the resulting sewer pipe lining was done with precision and expertise. The value of the work done, far exceeded the price we paid. Thank you again, Landon and Tony four sticking it out and making our pipes flow freely again. We hope we never have to revisit this again.... But will keep you in mind for any future oopsies and referrals!!!!

I have no doubt that Cornel's plumbing does great work...But they wanted to charge 936.00 dollars to replace a simple water shut off valve behind refrigerator and installation and replacement of a kitchen water faucet. I had the parts so, bid was just labor. I paid the 48 dollars for them to come out and give estimate and politely said no thank you such an over pricing. I found another professional plumber who is a licensed plumber 2 days later , who did the job in one hour for $225 dollars . That means Cornel plumbing would have charged me about $900 dollars for 1 hour work. My opinion is that is excessive regardless of their overhead and business expenses.

I chose Cornel's based on favorable Yelp reviews. I called this company to diagnose what was wrong with my hot water heater. I expected to get a competent technician. Instead I got a salesman who told me, ""We don't repair older water heaters, we replace them."" He read the flashing code, but said he had no idea what it meant.

With some online research, I learned that that the flammable vapor sensor would shut down the unit if it sensed a potential hazard. That is usually fumes from paint or chemical. In this case, the lockout was probably caused by the extreme heat (100° for much of the week). Following instructions I found, I was easily able to reset the heater. For the $49 service charge, Justin of Cornel's should have done that for me. Instead, he wanted to unnecessarily charge me $2,211.00 for a new furnace.

If this wasn't a scam, it was at best an unethical way to do business and environmentally unconscionable. A new hot water heater might be more efficient, but throwing a perfectly good one in the landfill is still a big net loss.
