I called Mike at Copper State Electric because of his good reviews. I needed a plumber ASAP. This was January 10th, Mike said he was busy that day, which was fine, but I needed an electrician too, but no urgency for that work. So we continued to text and set up an appointment for 9am on 2/23. I texted him at 8:20 on 2/23 to confirm the appointment. At 9:30 I texted again to see if he was coming. Mike said he overbooked the day, but said he would come by on 2/25 at 9:00am... On 2/24 he texted at 10:50am and said he could be there at noon. I said great, but it would probably just be a survey of the what needs to be done (a lot btw), as I couldn't stay home that day all afternoon. Mike says he will be there at noon.

I live in a condo high rise, and when Mike got here he asked for what unit, which I told him. He then said there is no place to park, which when I looked outside I saw there was at least three spots and was texting of that fact, as I watching Mike driving past those spots in his truck, and he continued down the road. He texted me and said, ""... I do not like to work on buildings downtown. Sorry to have wasted your time."" And then he continues to insist that my building is a apartment building, which when it was built in 1964 it was, but it has been condos since 1979.

IN SUMMARY:
So waited three weeks for an appointment, Mike missed that appointment, rescheduled for another time but when he arrived he just left without even coming in... He seemed nice on the phone... Your milage may vary. If Mike responds and contradicts any of this, I will post the entire text change where I have taken Mike's quotes.

After having Mike out to put in a new garbage disposal, we discussed taking out the old tube lights and cheap plastic covers in my kitchen ceiling and putting in recessed lighting. I have had this task on my mind since I purchased my condo. I also have other remodeling tasks on my mind as well.

Mike showed me photos of other similar work he has done. I was impressed and the quote to do the job was fair. I decided to take a chance and go for it. He only needed two half days, including painting, and he was done. It's been a week now, and I could not be happier!

Mike really did a nice job! I have had a few neighbors over to see his work as well so that when they are ready to do something like this in their kitchen, they will know who to call.

I rarely feel compelled to write reviews, but I feel that others should know great Mike was. I live in a 1950's home where things are always falling apart. He helped me on a variety of projects including installing a new water heater, patching up walls, fixing my front door, balancing fans, and installing new locks on my front door. He did all these projects with great care and efficiency. I was impressed with how each project came out and how knowledgeable he was. He saved me money by fixing items I thought I would need to replace (like my front porch light fixture). And it's nice to find someone with a positive attitude and a sense of humor. Definitely having Mike come back.

Mike came to our house to install a porch swing on our front porch. He was easy to communicate with, his prices were reasonable, and he did a great job. When he was done, I asked if he had additional time to install a drying rack in our laundry room knowing that this had been on my to-do list for quite some time.
