Did a really good job taking care of the stopped up drain and explaining how to avoid getting clogs in the future. Since this was my first plumber at my new house I asked them to look for any issues in the rest of the place and he gave me a good idea of things I would want to replace or fix and how long I would have to take care of them. The overall experience was great from standpoint of a courteous plumber who fixed my plumbing issue promptly.

I do have a problem with scheduling, I was told 1:00pm, then given window of 1-3 and the plumber showed up at 4:00. I hope in the future they can offer more accurate scheduling.

Last but not least pricing!! I was quoted $49 show up fee which would then be applied to the repair if needed. I was 100% Ok with that, where I have a huge problem is regarding $50 of parts (I actually purchased the parts and was going to do the repair but had small issue with the pipe coming out of the wall) and being charged $406 for the repair. $406 to replace a "P" trap is ridiculous. The plumber spent less than an hour here. I understand $100 an hour and maybe $150 for any repair but $350 an hour is stratospheric for a plumber. Especially working under a bathroom sink with the work space clear and easily accessed by an adult. I was told $226 in the beginning and somehow it mushroomed into $406 as the final. I would have said thanks but no thanks before the work started if I knew that number. Once again I was OK at $226 but $406 is insane....

Overall I am very dissatisfied with the overall cost. I hope someone can explain to me why I was charged so much. If you are going to use this company, make sure you have a list of all costs before work starts....

Working with Jeremiah from Cooper Plumbing was absolutely delightful. I love their use of technology with accurate updates on arrival times via text, fast responses, punctual arrival and quick completion of a small project fixing a broken PVC pipe section between the water main and the pressure vacuum breaker. They installed high quality pipe and fittings. Jeremiah even explained how the pressure vacuum breaker works! Overall, I can highly recommend working with Cooper Plumbing because of their very professional and respectful interactions with their customers.

Called Cooper plumbing because my go-to plumber was not available (won't mention the name here, can be found from another review). Service punctuality and quality was worth 5 stars. Pricing was worth 1 star - by far the most expensive plumbing service I ever had. For a same job that I paid $275 before, the charge was $500+ (took about ~1 hour to do). I inquired about another piping related issue that did not require an immediate fix, and the quote was more than twice what I eventually paid to fix it. Basically, as with every service, if you don't have a go-to person/company, try to get a quote first. If everyone is evasive about quoting without a visit, don't hesitate to say 'No' and pay the fee for the visit, especially if the total amount for the service is large.
